"When I was a little girl growing up, Ariel the little mermaid was one of my favorite movies. Like Ariel I'd wish to be part of a world where I could be happy. Much more!" This short story about a Rancher named Richard and mermaid, Storm really brings the immersion of two worlds coming together. Then making a hard decision to let go; only to be given one chance of a lifetime. Be alone forever or spend it with someone who can show you the greatest gift of all; love with a packaged deal of happiness? To be part of a world wondering free, and living life with all that it has to offer. "Life cycles back around, then things fade away." The father passing wisdom yet letting his daughter know if she choose option b, it comes with a price. Live life like it were your last day. Arri, I love that it didn't have much smut because as an adult version remake of the little mermaid....it had balance. New experiences, new love, and a purpose to actually live life by seeing it for yourself. Not just a mermaid watching from the shore. Firestorm was the perfect name for this story. You nailed it girl bringing back a piece of childhood. Just an adult version of it. Will I recommend it? Hell yeah! The book is a gem worth rereading. If you loved the little mermaid, you're gonna enjoy this book.
