Chapter one
EARTH; earth they say is home for living creatures, a planet that supports existence and a home that harbors billions of people with more yet unborn. We were told great things about this planet, and it fascinates me a lot; once I have thought of coming to see the planet, but I could not, and it still hurts but after a century, we were allowed to come.
Before I go into how it happened, allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little about my home. My name is Elena, I come from ECHANTIS, we exist of ourselves and yes, we are not a planet like how earth is. Unlike the humans who were born into existence, we were not; we came alive from our source, the LIFE ORB, hidden away from the reach of many and lost as a lot of our kind source to use it for evil things.
Just like earth, Echantis is home for zillions of immortals. Our beliefs are relatively different from those of the humans, we coexist and work as a single body, but the humans are different.
For every Echants after creation, we gather in the growing room for years before we are let out into our world to operate like the others, but mine was different; when I was created, I was taken somewhere else, growing and training to be a warrior. What we ate were just mere shrubs.
We were only twenty that were selected, and it is because for every new Echants being created, twenty have been selected and taken away to be guardians bestowed with special abilities to withstand whatever might come our way and the training last for centuries before we have been inducted and incorporated into the ranks of Guardianship.
There we have been told and taught about other realms and planet that existed and that was where I found earth fascinating to visit but been a newborn, I could not and so had to wait for the right time to come by and finally, it came.
Echantis is under attack, and it came from the SPARROWS; a group of scavenging Alphas that sought to take away our home for ages but never succeeded, but now things are getting out of hand, for ages we have been able to control the pending war, but now we couldn’t. They sought our source of existence to gain control of our being, and that is the major cause of the war.
The first warning attack they sent, they almost wiped a hundred of us, and we could not retaliate because it will make things worse and that is where Earth comes in.
As history would have it, our life orb was lost to earth during as war with the Sparrows in an attempt to hide it away from them and everyone who sought and betrayed us; the problem now is, what part of earth was the orb hidden? We were sent in teams of twenty as we were born to find and bring back the orb across the earth and that leads us to where we are now EARTH.
