*Two years ago....*
"Eric?"
"Is that.....Is that your colleague?"
Eric nods affirmative, unable to find words.
"What's she doing here?"
"And whose bags are those in the bedroom?"
Eric ruffles his hair in frustration, still not knowing what to say.
"Answer me, Eric!", Liana screams
"Babe, please. It's really not what you think", Eric pleaded
"Yes, that's my colleague and the bags are hers. I just....."
"Oh my God", Liana gasps, falling to the floor
"What's she doing here, Eric?", She whispered
"She needed a place to stay and i decided to help"
"You have a crush on her!"
"She doesn't feel the same way. I told you!"
"What?...Do you think that justifies having her in your house? Just when we are trying to fix our relationship?"
"Babe, it's nothing. I'm only helping. That's all"
"Choose, Eric"
"Babe....."
"Tell her to leave right now or I leave.... forever"
"Babe, c'mon. It's really not that serious"
"Make up your mind, Eric"
"Babe, please. I....."
"We're done, Eric", Liana gets up to leave.
Eric grips her arm in an attempt to stop her. "Babe, please listen to me. It's just for a while and she's gone. We can still fix this."
Liana struggles to be free from his grip, tears blinding her. "No, we're over. If you really wanted us to be fine, you wouldn't have done this. You didn't even tell me she needed help. I wouldn't have known if i didn't come here without telling you. I deserve better, Eric. I can't keep doing this with you"
Eric, looking into her eyes, crumbled to the floor. He's seen that look before. Liana will never be his again.
