Summary

Dripping Raven locks stick to her face and forehead as the wind starts to whip around her bringing tall trees to the forest floor with a load boom. A load roar much stronger then the thunder above sends a shiver of fear through her as she started to run only once slipping. The lights from her small home can be seen in the distance bringing her to push herself harder to reach it. With every thump of her mudded feet on the slippery ground the light from her home fades further away until all that could be seen was a harsh red glow and a sickening smell of rotting flesh and sulfur.

Chapter 1

The night was filled with a heavy rain and the sky above alight with streaks of light as the thunder shook the ground beneath the small girls feet as she walked home.

She hated nights like this where even the heavens above seemed to hate her just as much as her parents and schoolmates seemed to.

The thin zip up sweater and tank top she wore did nothing to shield her from the freezing rain that pelted down on her sore body, her worn black sneakers fill with a mixture of rain water and mud with every step she takes down the small dirty road that leads home.

The girl comes to a halt at the edge of jagged cliff overlooking what seemed to be a town of sort. The sounds of howling, growls and screeching surround her as she stumbles into the dark woods full of twisted black trees with burning embers.

Fear racked her now over heated body as she continued into the dark unforgiving forest, walking further into the unknown unaware of the eyes that watch her from the shadows.

The small creature walked into the Shulak(show-lock) forest recking of fear further fueling his need to feed on her soft flesh. The alluring scent of wild munshi (moon-she) berries starts to overpower the scent of fear that excused from her very being brings his lurking form to chill as a deeper need creeps into his demonic self.

With a small whimper the girl hold her knees close to her chest as she sits against the steaming trunk of a burning tree, the trees trunk full of embers is cool to the touch leaving the girl even more confused then she already was.

Millions of thought engulf her mind as she silently cries wishing to wake from the nightmare that surrounds her. A breaking branch alerts the girl that she is not alone, using the trunk behind her to push herself up she peeks around the trunk seeing nothing is there.

The sound of a low growl behind the girl brings her breath to hitch and the tiny hairs on her body to stand on end, slowly the girl turns around being meet with soft glowing green eyes then nothing.
