Chapter 1
Her name was Angelica, Angelica Maria Hui Newton.
She was the only biological child of Damian Newton and Sofie Logan. She was younger sister to her adopted brother-- Carson Feiyu Haoyu Chen, and older cousin to Jonathan (Jon) Logan.
She was only 9 when it happened, the Guardians decided it was time for the young girl to realise the very purpose of her existence, for all of them to realise.
It was a normal day, as normal as things can be. The sun was shining, birds flying, the sounds of your neighbors dog barking... It was a place of comfort, a home with the usual stuff laying around; a baseball bat on the stairs, clothes on the rack and sounds of footsteps and footsteps of children getting ready for the day.
"Carson, I swear to God! Give me back my glasses!!!"
"What glasses?"
Sofie only sighed with a slight chuckle, as a certain brunette about 4'8, runs downstairs visibly agitated
"Mamá! Carson está síendo un idiota y me quitó--"
"English or Mandarin, Angel"
Angelica frustratingly sighs.
"Carson took my glasses!"
"I'm sure, Carson wouldn't... Actually, Carson! Xiànzài jiù dào zhèlï lái!"
The raven haired boy runs downstairs.
"No hice nada!"
Angelica throws a book at his head
"Ow! Hey!"
"Xinghì! Zhè yïjīng bùshi dì yī cìle!"
(Criminal! This isn't the first time!)
"Bäobäo zöng shì kūzhe yào māmā!"
(Baby, always crying for mummy)
"Biäxiàn! Both of you stop insulting each other, go back to English and where is Jon?" Sophie yelled after setting breakfast on the table.
"I think he's in his room, doing whatever it is that he does" Carson replied. As if on que, Jonathan runs downstairs.
"I'm here!" The 5 year old beamed with his backpack and slightly messy hair.
Sophie ruffled his hair, while he sat at the table for breakfast before heading to the door and declaring "Alright! You guys have five minutes to get to the car, first one there gets a special giiiift"
The three children paused to stare at each other before devouring their plates at great speed. Carson finished first.
" See you at the losers section, Hermaná!"
"Over my dead body!" Angelica then sprang on Carson plunging both of them to the ground.
"Get off me you over grown baboon! Actually now that I think about it, you're just the right size" Carson smirked.
Angelica pulled his hair "Well at least I don't look like the face of the orangutan VOGUE!"
Sophie laughed as she watched this unfold "Ahem, kids...Jon won"
Carson looked up "What! When!"
"When you decided to embrace your wild blood line" Angelica deadpanned.
"Then that means I'm the descendant of King Kong! Or even better, a were...monkey...thing. Anyway, Jon's a boy therefore, he won for all males existing, while you soiled the dignity of woman kind"
"Why you-"
"Ok you two, that's enough; get in the car"
They both stuck out their tongues at each other before sitting on both sides of the car staring outside the window, while Jon sat in the middle eating a pack of crisps.
******Later arriving school*******
Sophie sighed calmly before she turned at the back seat and said.
"You guys know the drill, right?"
"At school: no fights, no vandalism, no arson, no skipping class, no insulting adults and no faking sick or faking health. Afterschool: wait outside for an hour and a half, if you're not there, we walk home, when we get home, behave, don't try to kill each other, do our homework if we have any, watch TV or read a book then go to bed, if you're not home by the next day we contact the police". The three children said in unity, while getting out.
"Good, See you guys after school, love you"
Jon left first "Bye Tiá!"
Carson went next "Love you mum"
Angelica was last she paused then said "Adios mámá, Tí amo"
Sophie smiled for bit before receiving a call. She frowned at the number.
*Sophie? Are you there?*
"Yeah"
*You know what has to be done, your sister did the same

"I know but, I can't leave them like that"
*I understand, but this is the price, it has to happen, you NEED the right canon event

"Ok, I'll be there"
Sophie hung up, then looked back to see Angelica walking to elementary in a distance with Jonathan, while Carson headed to the high school. Tears ran down her face as she whispered
"I'm so sorry, but this has to be done"
