Summary

Nahara is a farm girl, a peasant with a practical mind and little in the way of dreams for the future. She'd have been content to live out her days on the farm, working the land. But war changes everything. King Kazimir Martel, or Kazimir the Bloody, is conquering her homeland and cutting a blood path straight to the capitol.
