Waking up to hear the worst news of her life,

How did this happen? we were fine just yesterday, she thought to herslef

"You cant do this mom, why" a small voice said descending down the stiairs.

"Why what happened?, why are you screaming this early morning?" An older woman said to the girl. She was stressed out about the decision she made just this morning.

"Mom how can we move houses to an unknown place?" The girl asked with tears in her eyes. She could not belive when she heard from her best friend that her and her family are moving to a different place she hasn't even heard of. Like shouldn't she get to know it first?, isn't she her mom's daughter?, why couldnt they even tell her.

"Lana calm down, its not the end of the world, we are just moving places thats all" her mom said to the girl.

"Calm down?, how can you tell me to calm down mom?" Lana started shedding tears

"You know its difficult for me to start a new life somewhere with this personality of mine. Much less somewhere I havent even heard of" at this point she couldnt even see properly with all the tears covering her eyes.

She was a shy and an introvert girl who finds it difficult to have friends. When they moved here and changed schools, she was in the final year in middle school and now in the second year in high school, it was so difficult for to even say hi to her sitting patner and it took months before she got a friend not friends.

With her petit nature, she understood when most of the school girls didnt want to be her friend. They had a curly body with the prettiest face any guy could die for, and she had none of that features.

She has a small petit body with pale blue eyes and a brunette, nothing special that she can see. And she dislike her pale skin, it makes her look sick in her eyes...

"Oh dear dont cry"her mom said cleaning the brim of her eyes. She knew it was difficult for her daughter but she had to do it.

"Listen to me dear" Lana looled up to her mother to also see her shedding tears, her mom continued "listen, something just happened to your father, promise me you will stay strong for mommy and daddy ok?, I know its hard but we have to do this mmh, we have no choice but to move. Dont worry I'll be there for you, trust me ok"

"Ok" Lana said "let me go pack my things" her mother nodded and let her go.

They departed to a town where they will start a new life. Her father sat in the drivers seat with her and her mother in the back seat. Lana's mother hugged Lana as they made their way to the town and their new house. It wasnt as fancy as their old house and she completly understood. Their lavish lifestyle has come to unend with what happened, and they have to make do of what they have to survive.

Arriving in their new house, Lana got fown from the car and made her way inside the building. There was nothing special about the house, it was just simple on the outside and inside. The house was a two story building, the first floor contains the living room, the kitchen and the guest room, and the second floor was for the master bed room and other one room locayed at the far end of the corridor.

"I know its not much but we have to manage for a while, I promise will go back to how we used to live" her father sad with sad eyes amd they hugged each other. The town was an unknown town mear the forest, with the name Woodhill written boldly on top of a hill.

They settled in their house and when dinner time arrived, they ordered food from across the street. As they ate Bob, Lana father said "Oh right, I almost forgot. Lana you will start school tomorrow in Woodhill highschool as a second year student" this got both the mother and daughter pair attention. Lana looked ay him with wide eyes as she dropped the spoon she held out of shock.

I mean yeah she was supposed to go to other school but not this fast, she wasnt even prepared physically and mentally. Her mouth was wide open as she stared at her father.

"I know its fast but you are in the second semester and I dont want you to miss out on anything being taught and go to the next level" Bob said with a frown on his face as he looked at his daughter. Her mother placed her hands on Lana's back to support her and said "you will be fine" Lana smiled to both her parents and went to her room with permission.

She slumped on the bed and looked through the window. She got up and took her phone and walked to the window to open it. She looked out above to see the moon in its full glory and stars in the midnight sky. She took out her phone and made a call to her best friend.

"Hey" her friend say as she picked up the call aon the first ring.

They talked about what happened and how they will miss eachother company. Lana said buy to her friend and cut the call to sleep. As she was closing the window, she caught sight of a boy walking in the street. What caught her attention was his messy red hair that looks like a fire. She stared at the boy and when she was about to look away, the boy met her eyes and gone was her sanity.

She stared at the boy without looking away, it was as if he had captured her.

He tilted his head to the other side with his hair flowing to the side as he looked at her. With a smirk and a wink on his face, he took his eyes off the girl and walked away to God knows where.

Lana shook her head to come out of the trance, locking the window and going to bed, she dived under the quilt and fell into darkness going to dreamland saying "who is he" as her last thought.
