Princess Elora of Nanzan was sentenced to be banished to an island after she displayed magic on her fifteenth birthday. Two years later, the kingdom falls under attack. A now seventeen year old Elora sets out to save her sister, her kingdom (though she remains a tad it bitter about the whole banishment thing), and discover the secrets her mother kept from them all. Where did the magic coursing through her veins come from? Who can she trust and who will she lose? There will be death, battle, war, magic, betrayal, love, and kick ass female characters. Imagine a mash up of Frozen and Alice in Wonderland infused with slightly raging feminism. Character diversity, lgbtq+ community friendly.
