"A delightful little read that’s perfect for a cozy holiday escape. In just twelve short chapters the story feels charming, sweet, wholesome and radiates the cozy warmth one expects from a holiday-themed tale. Ally and Dom were truly wonderful; they avoid unnecessary melodrama while remaining relatable and felt like real people with their own endearing traits that distinguishes them from the typical characters found in more intense telenovelas or lifetime movies. I especially loved reading their early conversations unfold, and their first unofficial date at the pub was exactly the sweet, low‐key moment I imagined, and I was so relieved that there was no loud, unnecessary confrontation with Jamie toward the end. The epilogue provided the perfect finishing touch. While I briefly wondered if Ally and Dom might already be expecting a child, an engagement felt like a much more appropriate and sweet milestone for their journey. It was a wonderful story from beginning to end."

"This is a highly recommended read! It reads in a flash and leaves you wanting more (in a good way). It's the perfect novel to lift your spirits, its sense of humor is refreshing and hilarious, it's filled with the warmth of the holidays with family, Dom and Ally are such sweethearts... I wish it were a novel with more chapters so I could keep reading about these two. But I really think it's perfect just the way it is, without any big drama and full of laughs. "

"Every chapter seems to have food in it. The main woman says that eating is her hobby and she loves trying new things. Food moves the plot forward too. The story is funny in a great sort of way. The kind of jokes that everyone can laugh at. The kind that are not mocking. Helps the story's warm-fuzzy feelings fit right in as romantic feelings grow."
