Summary

Después de un incidente en su antiguo colegio, Katherine no tiene más opción que llegar a esa ciudad y ser parte de la llamada «Casa de Madame Charlotte», una residencia de conducta para adolescentes que hace las veces de camuflaje para un pequeño aquelarre. Allí conoce a Sarah, Elena, Víctor y Cora, los otros adolescentes que residen y con los que descubrirá lo que significa ser bruja. Sin embargo, no espera enfrentarse a tantas situaciones tan extrañas: una casa que le deja los sentimientos a flor de piel, un manicomio que los llama y una familia con la que tienen poca confianza. La llegada de una caja misteriosa e insólitos sueños hacen cada vez más fuerte un sentimiento que se implanta en el fondo del pecho; una señal que dicta el futuro por venir. Desde ese momento, solo falta la llegada del final.

Y no es que hayamos decidido serlo, sino que es mejor así; es mejor no ser nadie, a que alguien sepa quién eres, a que la verdadera naturaleza de tu alma salga a la luz.

Somos invisibles porque lo hemos decidido, por el temor de ser atrapadas de nuevo, por el miedo a ser juzgadas como antes, por la duda de que todo empiece de nuevo.

Por eso, hoy estamos unidas. Hoy en día, somos nosotras contra todos. Ahora nosotras somos una sola.

¡El fuego ya no nos acabará, muy pronto nos hará más fuertes!
