Chapter 1
Everyone in this world has a story, some good, some bad. But mine is a mixture of both. An ordinary girl who must do all it takes to protect her family and stop the destruction of the world using the powers of an ancient orb. Not many know me for who I am, The Dragon Lord.
My real name is Gabriella Donalds. I have an identical twin sister named Isabelle. Our mother, Elena Donalds owns the largest company in country A, Jk Corporation. Our father, Nick Donalds left us years ago. We attend the best schools in the country but presently we are still in high school. We have a best friend named Cherry Bellows and our life is pretty much going well.
Present day:
Me and Issa were on our way to school as mum had to rush off to work. Upon arriving, we bumped into Cherry who was excited for some reason.
"Hey girls”, Cherry greeted as ahe came closer.
"Did you guys make your mum angry that she couldn't drop you off on her way?”
"Nope. She had to leave for work. Something important came up in the company. About an illegal gaming company buying company stocks and all”
"Yeah I heard it too. Even my mum had to rush to work”. Cherry said.
"So anyways....” Issa said" Have you chosen an after school club yet Cherry?”
"Yeah, Am in the archery club” Cherry replied in a nonchalant tone.
"ARCHERY!!!!”. Me and Issa yelled cause Cherry's archery skills were not so good.
"Make sure no one loses their foot this time” Issa butted in and I burst into laughter. That reminded me of when we were in second grade and Cherry's arrow landed in the principal's feet and then she had to spend half the month in detention.
"Hey, stop laughing at me. What club did you guys chose huh?” Cherry said as we tried our best to hold in our laughter.
"Well am in book club but somebody chose music club cause of a special someone” Issa said in a teasing tone as she looked at me while I hid my face.
"No way!! That's Ethan's club” Cheeey asked excitedly.
"Hey am not joining the club cause of him” I replied.
"Yeah yeah yeah we know. Now come along. The seventh grade block is still another fifteen to twenty minutes walk ok” Issa told us and we all scurried off to class and of course, they were still teasing me about Ethan.
Ethan Armstrong is a tenth grader whom apparently is my high school crush and since Issa and Cherry found out about it, the have been teasing me, telling me to go and talk to him but I can't. Not because I don't want to but rather because he's an introvert and rarely speaks to other people. He is always in the company of two other tenth graders who I assume must be his best friends. Days went by after I joined the music club and I've been coping well. Turns out, Ethan is a great pianist. Too good if I must say.
Today I was at my locker, getting teady for my Chemistry classes till someone bumped into me.
"Oh my God I am so sorry”, I apologized only for me to turn around and find out it was Ethan.. Wait a minute, it's Ethan, the Ethan.
"Watcha saying sorry for. I was the one who bumped into you. Here” he said as he handed me my books.
"Tha... the....theee... Thank you” I stammered as I turned to leave. I was already embarrassed. Who stammers in front of their crush in the first place. Shockingly he drew me back and tightened his hold on my waist.
"Let me go” I said.
"Only if you go out with me for luch tomorrow and you won't say you are busy cause it's the weekend. I'll pick you up by 1pm. Dress nicely” he then gave me a kiss on the cheek and left after biting me.
