Chapter 1
“I think he’s gay or something,” Darron spoke with a mouthful of food as he eyed the dark-haired boy sitting alone three tables away from his.
The busy diner that he and his friends were at was usually almost always packed with groups of people whether it be a group of friends or family coming out to eat, so it was odd to see someone, this stranger in particular, here and dining alone.
His appearance was even odder – his long black dark hair was pulled up in a sleek bun, the edges gelled and laid to perfection. He also had a full face of makeup and was wearing the most electrifying green eye shadow that anyone had ever seen. His outfit, though, was on the casual side – a grey hoodie, fitted black skinny jeans with a pair of dirty looking Converse on his feet.
His outfit made him look like he woke up this morning and just threw on the first pair of clothes he saw, but his beat face and hair made him look like a man on a mission, and perhaps this diner was just a pitstop on his way to wherever he may be headed tonight.
Regardless, Alexander was intrigued.
“Ya know what, he actually looks kinda familiar to me. I think we might’ve all gone to the same high school. Yeah, I think he was that one kid who always got picked on for being... hella eccentric and shit. He was one of the quiet loners,” Darron added. “It’s been years since we graduated, and I’m honestly not shocked to see that he’s still the same ol’ weirdo.”
“I really don’t understand people like him,” Tommy chimed in, three and a half beers were already under his belt by this point so the chance of him uttering something stupid and disgusting was incredibly high. “The makeup, the girly clothes, and all that other extra shit. I just don’t get it. Why can’t he just make up his mind and decide who he wants to be? He can’t have the best of both worlds... this ain’t no Hannah Montana shit.”
Darron laughed until there were tears in his eyes. “I can’t believe you just referenced Hannah Montana. Ay! Somebody come get this man out of here!”
Unamused, Alexander rolled his eyes. Conversations like these were precisely why he didn’t like going out with his severely ignorant friends. He could easily handle them through group chats, but in person, sometimes, they were just too damn exasperating to deal with. Get a little alcohol in their system and they seemed to turn into completely different people.
At least once a day, Alexander would question himself about why he continues to hang out with the two idiots given they’re his total opposite. Darron and Tommy were both the outspoken and in-your-face type whereas Alexander was more on the reserved side and preferred to move in silence rather than bringing attention to himself. He was an introvert while his two best friends were annoying extroverts.
Maybe, had he not grown up with them and invested so many years with them, maybe then under different circumstances, it’d be easier for him to cut them out of his life.
However, Alexander knows he isn’t getting any younger. He knows it’s about that time for him to get rid of all the dead weight and negativity in his life so that he can grow and flourish and become the man he’s meant to be, but with ignorant fools like Tommy and Darron in his corner saying dumb shit and making him look guilty by association, turning into his best self was going to be more difficult than what he’d initially thought.
“You know he could easily say the same things about us, right?” Alexander shot back, unable to continue listening to Tommy’s pointless slander on the innocent guy. “He could look at us and question why we’re straight, question why we like being with women, why we love pussy when the world has so many other things to offer. People like him probably think all types of shit about us straight people because for them, for some of them anyway, we’re the weirdos. They see nothing wrong with two men or two women or whoever being together because that’s their normal, and you don’t have to like it, but the least you could do is respect it.”
Everyone at the table fell silent.
Tommy and Darron heard the edge in Alexander’s voice loud and clear. They knew not to cross him whenever he was in preacher mode, so they stayed quiet and let him speak his mind.
“It’s 2018, Tommy. You shouldn’t think let alone say ignorant shit like that, man,” Alexander said. “It’s offensive and gross. Besides, are you trying to fuck him?”
Tommy nearly spits out his beer. “The fuck kinda question is that? Hell no!”
“Then why are you worried about how he looks?” Alexander muttered. “If you don’t plan on hitting on him, leave him be and mind your business.”
Tommy, embarrassed and slightly annoyed by having been scolded like a child, turned red in his seat. He didn’t have a good comeback for his friend, he never did. Arguing wasn’t his strong suit, so he shut up and took whatever Alexander handed out.
“Well, then...” Darron chuckled, breaking the awkward pause in the conversation. “Alex, bro, you’re on ten right now, my guy. Take it down a notch. Yeah, Tommy said some wild shit but I’m sure he didn’t mean any harm. There’s no need for you to get so pissed about some stupid comments; you’re over here defending that guy like you know him personally or something.”
Honestly, why am I still sitting here? I don’t have to put up with this shit... “I’m tired. I’m gonna Uber home and catch up with you guys later.”
Alexander stood and pulled his wallet from his back pocket. He threw a couple of bucks onto the table and then left without looking back.
He really did want to get away from his friends but there’s another reason why he decided to abruptly get up and leave... and it’s because the pretty boy that Darron and Tommy had targeted silently made an exit shortly after Alexander put Tommy in his place. The stranger had Alexander completely enraptured, and for the life of him, he didn’t know why.
But from the moment that Alexander had laid eyes on him earlier, he felt something shift within himself, something that he was itching to learn more about and it seemed like all the answers that he was looking for rest with the pretty boy with the jet black hair.
I’m such a fucking creep! Why the hell am I following this guy? I don’t even know him... Alexander’s thoughts were running wild as he trailed behind, at a safe distance, the quiet loner.
His pulse steadily increased for every block they turned, and as the minutes started to add up, Alexander didn’t know how long they’d been walking. He also had no idea whether he was following the guy home or to another location for which, obvious reasons, he wasn’t invited.
No matter the destination, Alexander didn’t want to let him out of his sight. He wanted to get a better look at the boy’s face, wanted to ask if he did his own makeup and, if so, compliment him on his talents. Alexander wanted to talk about his black-painted fingernails, wanted to know if the various piercings in his ears hurt to get; he wanted to know if the boy’s eyes were as green as his eyeshadow or if he was wearing contacts.
Alexander had so many questions.
Having secretly stared at the guy so much – too much – while back at the restaurant, it’s a wonder that Alexander hadn’t already made a guess at his shoe size and age.
What the hell is he doing hanging out at a place like this? Alex was shocked to see the guy enter The Glitter Palace – a lively strip club that was popular in the area amongst the openly gay and those still undercover or in the closet, people like Alexander.
He was hesitant about going inside but his curiosity and desire to get closer to the cute boy with the sharp green eyes and glossy pink lips overpowered his mild discomfort. He trudged forward across the empty street and paid the bouncer outside in order to gain access to the loud club.
There was a full house tonight and Alexander’s optimism slowly dwindled as he began to wonder how he was supposed to track the guy down in such a crowded environment. He did his best to tune out his surroundings, to no avail, and about fifteen minutes into shuffling around the club in search of Mr. No Name, he felt utterly embarrassed and stupid that he’d done all this for somebody he didn’t even know. He was beyond ready to call it quits and actually Uber home.
This was a mistake. I shouldn’t have come here... As he sighed in frustration, now walking back to the exit of the club, he was abruptly stopped by someone having grabbed his hand.
“Where do you think you’re going, stalker?” the person that he’d been looking for whispered in his ear, his voice smooth and melodic. Chills slithered down Alexander’s spine as he turned around to see a pair of bright green eyes staring back at him. “What’s the scared look for?” the pretty boy yelled over the music, a slight smirk resting on his face. “I didn’t frighten you, did I?”
When Alex said nothing in return – his emotions having been thrown all over the dancefloor now that he’d finally found who he’d been searching for – the boy later mouthed, follow me, not having had the patience to stand here and try to hold a conversation while loud EDM tunes blast throughout the club.
The boy dragged Alexander to a closed-off section within the club, and as they walked, Alexander took the time to drink the stranger in from head to toe.
No longer did the boy have on the hoodie and skinny jeans; rather, he now wore a fitted black latex outfit, a crop top paired with skimpy latex booty shorts that looked stunning against his honey-brown skin.
His body was slender but still on the athletic side. He had soft features but also looked like he could fuck you up if you were to mess with him in the wrong way.
Alexander couldn’t help but check him out from the back; the boy’s ass was round and full, thighs thick, calves strong looking and impressive. And with the way that the latex clung to him like it was a second skin, Alexander couldn’t ignore or fight off the attraction that he felt towards the stranger. He also couldn’t ignore the growing hard-on in his pants.
“You’re a dancer here?” Alexander eventually found his voice after the boy ushered him into a private room, one the strippers used for high paying customers that preferred one on one attention... and sometimes, a little extra service – apart from dancing – on the side.
“Nah, I just do this for fun,” the boy replied in a sarcastic manner. Alexander immediately blushed, feeling embarrassed and having completely missed the boy’s playful expression. “Ay, eres lindo. I was just teasing! I’m sorry if I’m too much for you. Sarcasm is what helps me get through the day,” the boy sighed, closing the door to the room. “I’m a stripper, yes, to answer your question.” He turned around just as Alexander sat on the couch that extended out from one of the walls. Separating the two of them was a long silver pole in the center of the room. “I have a question for you now. Care to answer it?”
Alexander nodded, swallowing hard, not knowing what the hell to expect as the boy walked over to the pole. His eyes never left Alexander’s as he gripped it with one hand, circling around it slowly, advertising his goods to the wide-eyed hunk sitting before him. The boy couldn’t help but tease him a little as he climbed the pole with ease, showcasing one of his most popular moves while the music from downstairs sent vibrations all the way up to where they were.
“You couldn’t keep your eyes off me back at that diner,” the boy said in mid-air, no straining in his voice at all as he spun around the pole. “I leave there only to have you follow me here like a little lost puppy... Now, why is that? What do you want from me?” The boy returned to the ground in a graceful move, his heels clicking against the floor, eyes still locked on Alexander’s as he walked to stand in between his legs. “Hey!” He snapped his fingers in front of Alexander’s face, making him blink back to reality. “I asked you a question, handsome. Answer it, por favor.”
“W-what was the question? I’m sorry, I didn’t hear it,” Alex replied in a low tone, his thoughts all over the place while the erection in his jeans continued to grow at a fast rate. He tried to be smooth and place his hands over the tent forming in his pants, but the boy had already caught sight of it and smiled. “The dance...” Alexander whispered as the boy dropped to his knees and replaced Alexander’s hands with his own. “You d-distracted me with your dancing. I honestly didn’t hear what you said.”
“Wow. You don’t even know me... and yet, here you are staring at me like I’m some God you’ve been dying to meet,” the boy whispered while running his hands up and down Alexander’s muscular thighs. He normally didn’t do this kind of thing with strangers, but for the sexy, adorably bashful jock with the fancy-looking letterman jacket, he couldn’t help but make an exception tonight. “What’s with you, handsome? What’s your deal?”
“I-I don’t know,” Alexander murmured through a moan when one of the boy’s hands cupped his throbbing erection. “There’s just something about you. When you left the diner, I... I didn’t even think twice about it, I had to follow you, wanted to see you face to face, speak with you. I can’t really explain it. It’s just... it’s like...”
“I get it. Something that you can’t seem to put into words?” The boy finished his sentence. Alexander nodded. “What’s your name, handsome?”
“Alexander. But you can call me Alex, or... whatever you want. I don’t really care.”
The boy laughed. “I like you, Alexander. You’re cute and funny when you’re nervous.”
“I’m not nervous,” Alex replied, speaking before thinking. “I’m just...”
“Nervous and obviously very excited to be here with me.” The boy grabbed Alexander by the crotch again, making him curse quietly in pleasure. “That much I can tell.” The boy stood and then straddled Alexander, placing a hand on the back of his neck while slowly dragging his face forward until their lips were centimeters apart. “Normally, when I bring people back here, all they get is a dance and maybe I let them cop a feel before I take their money and toss them out... but for you, handsome, I’m in the mood to do things differently. I want you to surprise me.”
“H-how? What do you want me to do?”
“I don’t know. Humor me. Tell me what’s on your mind right now. Tell me something that you’re just aching to do.”
Unable to hold back, Alexander said the first thing that popped into his mind.
“Kiss you,” he breathed, voice laced with desire and want. “I really would love to kiss you right now.”
The boy smirked, his heart beating just as fast as Alexander’s as he leaned forward to press his lips to the stranger that was so close to setting his entire world on fire.
“Then kiss me, handsome. I’m all yours for the night.”
