Chapter 1

09:10 A.M

The rain was pouring heavily outside and the thunders were roaring loudly above the three story building as the boy was walking on the corridors trying to find his classroom through the crowd of students and multitude of classrooms.

The highschool had students from all over the world and it was strange for Mark to look at all the different faces and features. The children were walking around, asking eachother the countries they came from, with the hopes that they will find someone to talk to in their native language. It was a lot of noise.

The boy entered the classroom, the only free seat left being next to a girl with long, black hair dressed in a black shirt with the words "Live Every Moment" written on it - "She looks a little to dead for that inscription..." Mark thought to himself - and a pair of blue jeans - he sat down next to her.

"Hello!"

He said, a warm smile forming on his face.

"I am Mark. Mark Leitner."

The girl looked up from her book and started studying the boy for a few moments before returning the smile and speaking:

"Nice to meet you, Mark. I am Hanna."

The boy thought for a while, before asking his next question:

"Where are you from, Hanna?" He said thinking that this small talk was a little awkward but continued anyway, he knew they needed to be friends if they were supposed to share the same desk for the rest of the year since they weren't allowed to change their seats during the school year. "What are you reading?"

The girl waited for a few seconds before answering the questions.

"I am from Ireland. The book that I am reading is called 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'. What about you, Mark? Where are you from?" she smiled at him.

"I...I am from Germany." he answered, the warm smile appearing on his face again.

The teacher entered the classroom before Hanna could say anything back, carrying with him a weird energy that made Mark' stomach rumble, making him wanna throw up. "What the hell was that?" he thought to himself turning to Hanna just to see her looking sick too, unlike the other students in the classroom that seemed mesmerized by the man's beauty - he was a tall and muscular man with quite long, ginger hair and a nicely trimmed beard. If he wasn't so....weird the two would've been amazed by his beautiful features too.

"Good morning, class!" the teacher spoke in a shooting voice that did nothing but amplify the bad feeling Mark had in his stomach. "I am Mr. Thomas Collins, your biology teacher and i am here to tell you that since you'll stay in one of the school's dorms with one of your classmates until the summer break, the principal decided, to avoid any complication, that you'll share the dorm with your deskmates."

The man didn't take his eyes off of the two kids while he spoke making them feel really uncomfortable.

"You'll have to complete some papers and then the bus will drive you to your new homes so you'll have time to accommodate." Mr. Collins said, finally taking his eyes off the two when he started handing the papers to the students - Mark turned to Hanna.

"You'd better be a good roommate." she said giggling and completing her paper.

"I...I promise i will be one." the boy said in a gentle tone while looking around to the other students that seemed happy with their new roommates.

The bus stopped in front of the seven story building that was serving as their new home for a few months - the two entered. Their dorm was on the third floor - room 56.

The two teen-agers entered their dorm - "It was basically a hallway with three doors" - Mark wrote in his notebook - a bedroom with two beds and a small closet for their clothes and two separate drawers for their things, a simple bathroom and small kitchen with a table and two chairs in the middle, a microwave and small fridge.

"This shit's better than I thought!" Hanna said excitedly - the boy nodded.

"Yes..."

Someone knocked on the door.
