Chapter 1
It was fresh day with the sun kissing on my face, birds leaping on to the branches , breezing gently. Maya was off to the place Maya always mentioned as ” chamber of joy” her granny’s house.
Closing of day defines both beauty and spine-chilling. It was almost the day end when she reached there . Everybody crave to be treated like a princess and she did too. That’s the reason she always loved going there . Late night aftr the day end meal , she went fr a walk with my fellow cousins . The night was scary , very little moon light appeared. They were having a lot of fun, remembering all funniest incidents. In an instant they saw a man passing by the estate . From behind he looked like a cousin of Maya’s, who always sneaked for a drag . They always wanted to catch him red handed and make a lot of demands. As smoking wasn’t considered a good habit in my family. They traced him slowly and he walked for few miles and stopped and to our surprise , as they got distracted for a while the man vanished. They searched for him all over the place but couldn’t find him. They came back home and told granny about all the happenings. Granny’s reply put everyone in the state of aghast. She said he hadn’t come home for like 4 months because of his busy work schedule. None of them could sleep that night and all went back home on the next day.
