Chapter 1

New Story!

Chapters may be short at times. Updates may be slow.

This story will only have 20 chapters.

Yes I will use pictures in my story. I try to use them in my stories. Some chapters wont have pictures but there are some readers that have commented about my stories being overrun by pictures and said the story was more of a picture book. If it was a picture book, it wouldn’t have words at all. If you don’t like pictures in the stories, you can skip over the pictures. Simple as that.

Enjoy!

Positive feedback is appreciated.

If you don’t like the way I write, then don’t read and no need to comment about it. Just move along please.

On with the story:

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Beth sat in her office at the Carson Accounting Firm where she was the COO of the firm. She helped start the firm with her two best friends from college, Travis Riker and Evan Carson. They were engaged to each other and were co-CEOs.

“Hey beautiful,” Evan said.

“Hey baby,” Travis said.

“Hey guys,” Beth said

“You okay baby?” Travis asked. He sat down next to her. Evan sat down next to him. They always called her sweet names even though she was a sister to them. They were brothers to her. They all shared an apartment as well.

“I am just thinking about how my life is,” Beth said.

“Single and alone,” Evan said.

“I have you guys for company when you aren’t locked in your room,” Beth said.

“Sorry baby,” Travis said.

“Sorry beautiful,” Evan said.

“We can’t help how much we want each other,” Travis said.

“I know, it’s okay, it’s been awhile since I had that experience,” Beth said.

“Your ex,” Evan said.

“He said we would always be friends, then he blocked me and no one can talk to him about me, he don’t want to hear my name anymore, I don’t understand why,” Beth said.

“Did you go back home and try to talk to him?” Travis asked.

“He told his brothers that he don’t want to see me ever again,” Beth said.

“What do they think?” Evan asked.

“They hate what he’s doing according to Britt,” Beth said.

“But they don’t want to fight their brother,” Travis said.

“No they want to keep the peace,” Beth said. Her phone rang.

“Hey bro, oh god no!” Beth said crying out. She dropped her phone. Evan grabbed it and took the call while Travis gathered her into his arms as she sobbed against him. Evan hung up.

“Babe?” Travis asked.

“Baby we should get her home to the ranch,” Evan said.

“Evan what happened?” Travis asked.

“Her parents were killed in a car accident, a semi truck ran a red light and plowed into their truck, they both died at the hospital,” Evan said.

“Let’s go,” Travis said. They sent everyone home, locked up the office, and headed home to the apartment they all shared. Evan packed a bag for him and Travis while Travis packed one for Beth while she curled up on her bed.
