Empty Eyes (Six Short Stories)

Introduction

You won’t see many summaries of my books, but I decided to write one for this collection of short stories, because I would like to explain some things beforehand for readers who might get appalled by reading them.

This is a compilation of six short stories about crimes committed by teenagers and younger children or including teenagers and young children. A couple of the stories can be found in their original practically unedited version on my blog “Dreamy Attic”.

The topic is very sensitive and it’s one of the few times I didn’t have fun writing and I was always reluctant to go back and edit those stories. The mere thought of a child committing a crime was and still is unnerving for me but made me wonder under which circumstances it could happen.

Let me be clear.

Murder should not happen at all, but I am a writer. It’s my thing to tell stories and I do get curious about things. This does not mean I always support the perspectives I am describing (especially in this work). I just try to be open minded, expand the borders of my creativity and test my own skills. This is one of these cases.

I am not taking sides.

I do not encourage anybody to commit any kind of crime against another.

These are just stories.

Some may find them disturbing and people who are prone to depression and dark thoughts may not be fit to read them, as they may be affected negatively.
