This inquiries our reality of existence, metaphorically found in a Foggy night. And should it play to your own conceived perceptions then you may attain the allowance to appreciate Life… Without discrimination Life has a way of transforming our realities unpredictably nonetheless devoid of this, life would have no course. Now follows is the prophetic literary inquisition… A silhouette of an elderly man stands alone on a forested trail, blanketed by the night’s shade of darkness. A dense fog immerses the darkness. Standing motionless, enveloped in the landscape as to be a fixture of its being. A man has come to this place to concluded his profound experience in thoughtful existentialism. This man begins a thought in this moment of the entirety of his journey. Knowingly, his history has taught him, everyone enters life not by choice, and tragically departures life regardless of choice just the same. Thus, between his incarnation and expiration would be what has come to pass is Life. Memories run seamlessly and unimpeded through his mind, evoking emotional pleasantries of those times. A humorous remembrance of his once arrogant plans for the future, he now compares them to his present moment, provoking feeling of pride, love and humility. He ponders the result of all his efforts and endeavors in hopes to unify a underlying purpose. Thwarted of course and just like his younger worldly self, no defining purpose can be found. Disheartened by this he Nevertheless can now relishing in, his love and contentment in the fog he has found that consumes him nocturnally. The fog has a rarity to its occurrence, when it does appear it is elusive. He enjoys the relation it shares with the unknowable meaning to Life. Fog’s likeness to the answer of life, when it does occur, we rarely find it. As it only appears for short moments in time its fragile in this moment, so easily dissipated. And if found we will see our purpose but like life it is fleeting. Though he sees Fog’s relationship to how we can travel ever so blindly from moment to moment through our Lives. Henceforth, we can all attain our own fog found in the night.
