🍁

4th of September.

The autumn leaves that reflected the beginning of a new season, ending the eternal summer. It was starting to get colder than usual and the trees were starting to look gloomier. This time had nothing of special importance; it just meant that one of the best parties of the year would come very soon: Halloween.

Sasha looked forward to this holiday, in part, because she longs to be showered with compliments and attention. She also enjoys herself with her friends, lately there have been several frictions between them caused by her strong personality.

When she talks about friends she refers more specifically to Anne. They went from being simple disagreements to fights where neither of them wanted to apologize; immaturity and pride reigned in their friendship. It was always like this, why change now?

Marcy was more in the background. She did not get involved at all and did not give it relevance either. Her indifference to her situation made his blood boil.

She hated to admit it, she was losing control of the situation and that of her friends. The more they grew, the more they drifted apart, and she must not let that happen.

She would sometimes give in to the pressure to apologize, but again she would make mistakes and the cycle would repeat itself. She had no reason to think that what she was doing was wrong, that is, she may have made extreme decisions without her consent, but she did it for her own good.

It's like if Anne wanted to contradict everything, it's so annoying. She wishes she could go back in time to when they were children and none of these confrontations happened, imposing her will on others is easier when they are vulnerable.

That day she had gone to the Boonchuy house to apologize for... Tenth time? She had already lost count of the times she had promised that she would change and be 'better'. Today she was no exception, her friend couldn't live without her even if she didn't admit it. Taking advantage of this weakness was what he had left.

She was received by Mr. Boonchuy, who was clearly not happy at all. He hates her daughter getting together with Sasha, he doesn't consider her a good influence, much less a good person. Especially, with things that Anne has told him that she gave him a bad image in her eyes, reinforcing this idea even more.

He decided to wait on the sofa in the house while the brunette came, her face was expressionless although inside she was thinking about how to use the right words for the occasion.

When the Thai girl came down she could see that he is not in the mood to see her. Her look was disappointment mixed with rejection. She had already been through these thousands of times, she would just tell him the same old script and everything would be forgotten. Until, something makes her angry and they fight again.

Seeing her he quickly got up from the seat and tried to get closer, trying to keep a considerable distance between the two.

"Anne...

"Sasha," he interrupted. “What are you doing here?” Her voice was sharp and cold, she crossed her arms to make it clear that she didn't like her presence in her home.

"I came to apologize. I know that the way I spoke to you was not correct, it will not happen again.” She forced one of her best smiles but that did not convince the brunette.

"And how do you want me to believe that? You say the same thing all the time. I'm tired of trusting you, Sash. "

It was a low blow, it hurt, it made her angry in a way. She was trying to maintain a calm composure but at any moment she would lose her mind.

"This time it will be different, I promise."

Hearing that, Anne rolled her eyes tiredly. Same story, same characters, same lies. She wondered inwardly how she managed to endure all these years by her side, meeting new people gave her a new perspective on friendship. She no longer tried to impress or maintain worthless friendships, yet she Sasha had been one of the first friends she had ever had with her.

She had grown and changed so much, she wasn't the same girl that she was afraid she wouldn't fit in. She said what she thought and when she felt that she was acting wrong.

She gave a little of her sigh and continued to stare at her.

“Sasha, this is not healthy. It's not good for us, I've already accepted that this is how you are and that you will never change. But that doesn't mean I'm going to put up with your mistreatment. " She paused for a moment, since what she was about to say hurt, but it was necessary. "...I think, we should stop seeing each other."

That was a bucket of cold water for the blonde, she very rarely was left with nothing to say, and she never thought that Anne would take such an extreme measure. She kept her fist closed, she clenched it as hard as she could. She was beginning to lose control and her heart was burning as if it had been set on fire.

Uncontrolled emotions, she couldn't bear that feeling, still she couldn't escape from it. Her anger increased to alarming levels for anyone, her head began to ache from frustration.

Without much thought, she called out what was being kept.

"YOU'RE SELFISH!"

The blonde's attitude did not surprise her friend, although she yelled if sheIt scared him a little, he was not going to let himself be intimidated that way.

"Me? Selfish? The only selfish person here is you. "

"Are you going to throw away all these years of friendship!? Is that what you want, Anne!? "

Sasha wanted to hold on to Anne's hand, however, she pushed it away. She was beginning to doubt the emotional stability of her ex-friend.

“You understand what I'm saying. It's done. "

"Why do you have to do this? Can't you accept a fucking apology? "

“Don't make this more difficult than it already is. " Her voice denoted sadness but at the same time relief, she no longer felt that weight on top of her. Nobody was going to defend her forever, it is something that she understood perfectly and she was putting it to the test.

The situation escalated in tension, none was going to give her arm to twist to defend her convictions. The aura that the two emanated was scary, the seconds seemed like years and the situation couldn't get worse.

"I've tried hard to change! But you always see all the bad. "

“You haven't changed at all. You keep lying to me and manipulating me, that's exactly what you're doing right now. "

"So what if I don't want to change!? I have accompanied you since I was a child, we have been through many things together, I have supported you in EVERYTHING. You should be grateful to me! Those idiots want to take you away from me, how can you not realize!? "

Pure manipulation, for a weak person it was difficult to identify but when you live with people like that all the time it becomes easier to distinguish it. She didn't plan to waste any more time on this discussion that would come to nothing, she only made Sasha angrier by not being able to convince her. She was firm in her decision, nothing would change her mind.

“You're making a mistake" The blonde assured her, they had a war of glances where they both looked at each other with contempt and resentment. "You'll come back to me, you'll regret it."

“Even if I'm sorry, I'll be grateful I don't have to spend another minute with you. "

Ok, that had been hard even for her.

But it was the truth, she hurt him a lot but enough was enough. The damage she caused was irreparable, she couldn't change a person's attitudes when she thinks that what she does is right.

The parents of the brunette were present, they seemed to have heard all this discussion between the teenagers and they did not want Sasha to continue there. She was literally kicking her out of the house, at which point she wanted to hit someone. She was very offended by what she said, she left the house but not before slamming the door and causing a family portrait to fall.

The Thai let out a defeated sigh, breaking up friendships was painful, even so she wasn't going to get stuck.

Oh Sasha, you shouldn't have underestimated her.

She lit the lighter and put it close to her cigarette, not long ago she took up the habit of smoking. She never thought that she would get to do it but doing inappropriate or forbidden things quickly caught her attention. When she did, she was always on the roof of her house. From there she had a perfect view of the neighborhood, the sunsets were beautiful and had an aura of mysticism.

Smoking itself helped to distract her mind a bit and let the stress out of her. Her anger issues didn't go away on their own, maybe she should resolve them in a healthy way. Or maybe not.

She never thought she would be in this predicament where her friend turned against her, her suspicions that meeting more people would distance her from her were confirmed, she knew she had to do something at the time and now she regretted it.

Who needs Anne? She was better off on her own, fuck her.

In less time than I expected she had finished her cigarette so quickly, she took another one from the box and repeated the same procedure. She heard small footsteps approaching in the distance, she already knew who it was so she didn't even turn to look.

She knew what that girl was coming for, she settled down sitting on the roof ignoring her approaching presence. When she arrived, the first thing she did was cover her nose with her fingers as she breathed in the smoke, her unpleasant smell was something she couldn't stand. She disgusted him.

"Sasha... "

"Marcy"

The Asian woman tried to walk to where the blonde was, although she had difficulty since she was afraid of tripping and falling from a considerable height, her legs were weak and she miraculously reached the edge of where her friend was. . She gave him a hug from behind her affectionately, she Sasha did not reciprocate but that seemed tender. Someone still loved her at least.

"I told you not to smoke, it's bad for your health. Do you know how likely you are to develop lung cancer? It is estimated that-"

"Yes Yes. I know that smoking is bad. Save your explanation, nerd” she interrupted.

Marcy pouted in annoyance, she cared so much for her that in the end she wouldn't take her into account. However, that was not exactly what he came for. She hugged her legs and placed her chin on her knees, the atmosphere calm though noticeably spoiled by the smell of smoke.

"Anne told me what happened. " she blurted out suddenly, like it was a bomb.

In response, Sasha knew she was silent It would do no good to complain anyway. She just kept smoking as if she hadn't heard anything.

"I don't like that they are fighting, you promised me that you would fix things with Anne. "

"I tried that, but she didn't want to."

“I can understand why. "

“What do you mean by that?” She turned to look at her before giving an interspersed smoke.

Marcy did not like to intervene in fights, this already went too far even for her. She knew that remaining indifferent to the conflict was not the solution, she had to get involved.

"Sash, have you ever put yourself in Anne's shoes? How would you feel if they treated you that way? "

"What? Did you come to defend her or to reproach me for her? "

"Neither of the two, I just want everything to be fixed and stop fighting. "

"I'd like to see what you try."

"Well, maybe I should. "

She seemed so convinced that she could bring them back together, it was still too early to think about that possibility, effort is what made a relationship strong and stable. The effort should also be mutual, where both will reach a peace agreement.

She put her hand on her blonde's shoulder and gave her a hopeful, confident look.

"I know you're not a bad person. Maybe some things you do without thinking, but still you have always shown that you care about us. I believe in you Sasha. " she assured.

Sasha was frozen, she didn't know Marcy would think of her like that. She unconsciously felt flattered by these comments, she really appreciated it.

Inside her, she's scared that I ended up losing another friend because of her behavior. That was her personality and who she had been all these years, suddenly changing like that didn't please her.

Her pride was important, but for the girls it was totally worth it. Deep inside she didn't want to lose Anne, much less Marcy.

"And what reason do you have for believing that? Everyone sees me as the worst in the world, I doubt that you are the exception. "

"I know you better than anyone, I'm telling you this for a reason. I know your most kind, protective and loyal side, you know perfectly well what it is like. Even if you don't want to admit it. " she paused to watch the sky turn orange, her eyes sparkling at the sight and she continued to look at her mate.

"I can help. " spoke again and she pointed to herself as she brought her hand to her breast. "I can only do it if you let me. I'm sure you don't want to be like that. "

Right now someone was believing in her, despite all the shit she could become was still there, it's impressive the way she placed all her hopes in her person.

She didn't want to disappoint her, however, she couldn't promise her something that she wasn't sure if she was going to be able to keep. The will was there, only easier said than done.

"...I don't know, Marcy."

"Look, you don't need to give me an answer now, you can think about it as long as you want. No pressure, okay? "

Something so complicated to her made it look so simple. On the one hand she was aware that acting like this would not get her anywhere, when you have something so ingrained it takes a long time to get out of you.

She perhaps needed to smoke several more cigarettes to resolve this internal conflict.

Marcy said goodbye to her after a while, it was getting dark and she couldn't be home late for dinner.

The Wu family was weird in some ways, and not specifically for that. They had that something that made them like that, anyway who was to judge, their parents weren't far behind with questionable behavior either.

In all this, Marcy was the rarest, that is, she literally saw goodness in her, something that in the eyes of most is almost impossible. She may feel sorry for her situation and she volunteered for this very thing.

God, the more she thought about it the more she believed that she did need help.

She had never in her life asked for help for anything, she had done everything by herself. She was always very independent since she was a child, one of the few things she was proud of.

She didn't want to break her head so much over that topic, for the first time she put her dignity aside and decided to text the Asian.

Mar-Mar 💚

9:22PM

Hey.

✓✓

Answer the messages, idiot.

✓✓

Sorry! She forgot to answer, I didn't want to leave you on seen.

✓✓

“Typical Marcy" she thought.

Anyway, I decided that... maybe if I want your help.

✓✓

In less than a minute, she got a call on the phone.

Upon accepting it, the first thing she could hear was a scream that almost ruptured her eardrum from how loud she heard it. She had to put the phone away for the sake of her ears.

"It can't be Sasha, are you seriously going to do it?! For a moment I thought you weren't going to accept since, well, you know. But it does not matter! I'm so happy! "

"Make me not regret this, okay?"

"We are almost there" She repeated the dark-haired one as she guided the blonde down a path that she clearly didn't know.

Getting lost in the city of Los Angeles was common, but following Marcy was something already guaranteed.

"You don't know where we're going, do you?"

"Y-Yes, I know! Only, I think We spent a few... Five blocks? No wait. We should have crossed two streets ago to the left. Uh... Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it's one street up on the corner. " Directions were not his strong suit, although he had been living there for years, it was difficult for him to reach his destination. More than anything because she was distracted by other things.

That day her friend was counting on her and she was not going to let her down, after so many mishaps to get to the planned site they had finally arrived. To add excitement to her moment, she covered his eyes with both hands. He positioned her in front of her and removed his hands from her.

"Ta-da! "She mentioned the minor happily, hoping to see a positive reaction on the part of the opposite, the only thing she could see was a reaction of fear. Which was unusual for her. "Sasha? "

She read the words from the building where she was standing, it said: Los Angeles Mental Health Center.

Seeing that paralyzed her, where the hell had Marcy brought her? To an insane asylum? This was what he got for trusting her.

"You must be kidding me," she snorted. She was expecting maybe a talk or something like that but not that he would bring her to this place.

“I know what you think, but we must start with the first. Maybe you have a trigger that makes you act like this, besides, I already scheduled an appointment for today. "

"You're crazy if you think I'll go in."

"Come on Sasha! If you're scared I can accompany you. "

"I'm not frightened! I never am! "

"Then let's stop talking and go inside."

The young Asian woman dragged her inside the place, it was similar to a hospital, even she had that same characteristic smell, the rooms were divided into rooms and there were patients waiting outside the doors, sitting in a corner.

The space was divided into hospitalized patients who lived there and those who were passing through to be treated by specialists.

Both girls went hand in hand, inside everything was so cold as was typical in this type of place. Next to the doors it said the name of the professionals who worked there and in what area they specialize, Marcy was looking for the name of someone in particular.

She until she found the person she was looking for. She knocked on the door and a middle-aged woman with reddish hair and blue eyes somewhat dull due to her age came out of it, seeing Marcy she hugged her instantly.

"I haven't seen you in a long time, Marcy."

"Aww I missed you too Blair." she replied, she hugged her gladly, she felt a little nostalgic.

"Do you guys know each other? " Sasha said, interrupting the moment, which she reminded the black-haired woman why they were here.

"That's right, this is Blair, when she was a child she often came here because of... My condition. The time I was here helped me a lot. She will be your psychologist from now on. " — denoting a bright smile, she looked at the older one again giving herself a knowing look.

He took the blonde from her arm and pulled her in front of her.

"Let me introduce you to your new patient today!" She exclaimed, that could have been heard to Mars. Everyone present turned their attention to the two noisy young women. Sasha was uncomfortable with the situation, what if someone recognized her there? She would die of shame. Her reputation would be tarnished and everyone would make fun of her.

“Marcy, don't yell so loud. "

"Sorry... "

Marcy then gave the blonde a little push so that she would introduce herself, before speaking she cleared her throat a little, she is very nervous but she tried to give her best confident attitude.

"I'm Sasha... Sasha Waybright. And I came here because... "— It was difficult for her to move her mouth, with great difficulty she finished the sentence. " …I needed help. "

Blair gave her a motherly look, for some reason she felt very familiar, she invited her to go to where she attended all her patients, Sasha did not feel safe entering and she turned to see the black-haired girl.

"I'll wait for you out here, I'm not going anywhere."

It was the beginning of October, many things had changed although at first glance everything was the same.

Going into therapy she was a bit defensive. As she went she was able to be a little more open about her emotions and how she felt about it.

She made him see in a certain way because she behaved like this, she was not as healthy as she thought. She kept some unresolved traumas from the past and things that marked her for life.

Being aware of her feelings and those of other people was something relatively new, she tried to be more empathetic with the people around her and put herself in her place.

She couldn't tell that she was totally changed because she was still working on it, although the change feels good. And that she was afraid of him before.

At the same time, at school things were... Bad.

Since the day they fought, Anne completely separated from Sasha, they didn't even look at her. For the others it was uncomfortable, who took the worst part of this was Marcy. Her friends had made her decide who she wanted to be with, she didn't like being in the middle of all this.

Fluctuate between the two girls, try to spend the greatest time possible with both but sometimes it was impossible. On the same day Anne could invite her to the movies, but Sasha invited her to a party, if she canceled one of them, they said that she was having preferences to go out with the other.

Could they mature at once?

Sasha always had friends apart from her group of friends, however, they were more people to go out and hang out with.

Although she will try to meet other people, she simply did not feel the same, she was looking for that closeness and belonging that she was not in her 'friends'.

She worked on showing the best version of herself. Her efforts paid off somehow, who would say that being friendly instead of intimidating people you get friends.

On the other hand, Anne was genuinely happy. She didn't even seem to miss it, it was bittersweet that feeling. If she had seen her like this before, she would have completely lost her temper. She thought that Anne couldn't live without her, when in reality she was the other way around. She now saw it from a different perspective, she liked that Anne was happy even if she wasn't by her side.

She began to feel guilty for the mistakes of the past, she was able to begin to understand why she walked away from her. Her forgiveness was something she wanted, but there was also the question of whether she deserved it.

Every day that passed she could feel all that weight on her back, of regret and frustration for not being able to remedy it. As much as you regret something, nothing will change what you did.

Actions have consequences, unfortunately it was something she learned very late.

She was trudging through the halls of the school, it had been a very long day. She picked up some books from her locker for her last class of the day, her spirits lifted a bit since after class she would go with Marcy to a park where she would have a picnic, they hadn't taken the day off to be together for a long time except when she accompanied her to go with the psychologist.

He likes talking to her, that is, they could talk about anything without hesitation or prejudice. It's great, maybe she should tell him sometime. When her last class was finally over, she ran home to change her clothes.

Spending the day with someone she loved meant a lot, she couldn't lie, she was excited for the occasion. Besides, the two of them would be alone.

She looked for some things that she needed for the picnic, a blanket, food, drinks… Hell, this seemed more like a romantic date than a friendly outing.

Thinking about that made her blush, which is to say, she didn't dislike the idea of it being a date.

She even would like it to be that way, but maybe it was something that Marcy didn't want. She never saw her in love or interested in anyone in general, which is strange considering that at this age her hormones are out of control.

She tried to put those thoughts behind her and her phone rang indicating that she got a notification.

Seeing what it was Marcy was, she sent him some pictures of what appeared to be... Frogs? Worst of all, it was accompanied by a message.

Mar-Mar 💚

2:57PM

Sasha! Look what I found here in the park, there is so much variety of amphibians, near here there is a lake, isn't that amazing?

✓✓

She was a little disgusted by that, she didn't like anything to do with those animals. So unpleasant.

Shouldn't those things be dead by now?

✓✓

Well, soon when winter comes it will affect them.

✓✓

Wait, since when are you in the park? We were going to meet at 4:00

✓✓

Didn't you say it was 2:30?

✓✓

No.

✓✓

Oh... I'm already here anyway.

✓✓

Good. I'll be there in about 10 minutes, I guess we'll move up the picnic.

✓✓

She put the phone in her pocket, she gathered some things that she would take with her. Where she wanted to go was not that far from her house, so she saw no need to bring her new possession: a motorcycle. Her parents had given it to her for her seventeenth birthday, she couldn't wait to take her out for a walk.

She spent the minutes walking until she reached the park where the meeting was planned, she looked for the Asian and found her. She was under the shade of a tree, her outfit was a cute strawberry print dress. She is very cute. She seemed to be with a notebook, apparently drawing.

She had already put the blanket and next to her there was a basket that probably had food too, he approached the girl quietly so as not to disturb her. The shadow of her blonde made the brunette react, he looked up and smiled when he saw her.

"Hey" Sasha called first before letting her friend talk.

"You came too early. "

"That's bad? "

"Not at all! In fact, I was finishing my drawing. "

She turned it over to show it to him and it was the frog she had texted him earlier, she looked very realistic. Beside her, she seemed to have information about her species, height, weight, among other data.

She leaned in to get a better look, she must admit that even though she's grossed out by frogs, she draws very well. He sat down in front of her, adjusted her legs better and began to take out the things that he had brought from her.

An orange leaf fell on her shoulder, it was like a reminder that winter would soon arrive and therefore the year would end, had everything happened so quickly? Yesterday was literally spring, she made her feel a bit nostalgic as she remembered the moments she spent with Anne, moments that would never be repeated.

She sighed and noticed that Marcy was staring at her, it was strange, her eyes met and she hastily looked down at her notebook as she kept her pencil on the page.

She let this slide until a voice brought her back to her five senses.

"You look cute today. " The Asian commented, for no apparent reason. This compliment made the opposite blush, she never happened to him but that day was her exception. She took her hand to the nape of her neck somewhat embarrassed by this comment.

"You look cute too..."

She bit her lower lip, the faces of both girls were red from the embarrassment of the moment, the blonde cleared her throat a little to change the subject.

"So, shall we start eating or what?"

Marcy nodded and took out the food that she had brought, she brought a variety of fresh fruit and some fried foods. In a container she brought one of her favorite fruits cut into pieces: watermelon. She carried some small chopsticks to be able to grab and eat them at once, she offered them to her friend who gladly accepted.

She brought one of them to her mouth and gave her a thumbs up in approval, they liked each other's company, there was no need to talk or say anything to feel confident.

They devoured a large part of the food in less time than expected, the remaining part was put back in their respective containers.

Sasha placed her two hands on the grass and leaned her back a little, she admired the sky and a little the nature of the place, she heard the sound of the birds and the people who were present. Being there made her feel serene, she admitted that she hadn't loved the outdoors much before, a lot of dirt and dirt everywhere.

Now she felt different, it was reassuring. She realized why people liked to come and hang out.

On her side, the Asian drew lines in her notebook, she looked up from time to time to see the blonde, which this time she did not miss.

"How are you? Am I too pretty and that's why you look at me so much? " She said it in her typical smug tone, Marcy was startled to hear this and hid the notebook behind her back.

"I-I wasn't looking at you!"

"Hmm. Your reaction confirms my assumptions. "

"..."

"Come on. Let me see what you were doing. "

The Asian looked away, she couldn't see her directly in her eyes and Sasha knew it perfectly. She loved seeing her nervous, but she didn't like it when they did the same to her. A kind of contradiction, yet for both of them it was fun to play this game where the fine line between friendship and courtship was not respected.

She came dangerously close to the minor's face, took her chin making her eyes meet, their hearts were going a hundred per hour. They did not say a word, time did not seem to be an impediment. She took her notebook to her chest trying to calm her breathing, she Sasha thought about taking the object from her but she enjoyed being like that.

Marcy eventually relented and handed it over to him, glancing over and realizing that he was making several sketches of her.

She flipped through several pages and most of them were sketches of her person, next to one of these were three little hearts.

She seemed like he had been drawing her for a while, she found it touching when she saw how she paid attention to the details of her clothes.

"You draw very well, Mar-Mar. You captured all my natural beauty. "

The black-haired didn't say anything, she was just playing with her fingers in an anxious way and she kept her eyes lowered. Her mind was filled with scenarios where she was left with the doubt of what would happen if they had gone further. Thinking about this made her nervous in a certain way, the blonde noticed that she was lost in her thoughts and she placed one of her hands on the Asian's sweaty hands.

She suddenly looked up and understood what she wanted to do, the touch of her hands reassured her a little, although these approaches of hers made her fly.

She returned the notebook to her owner, who was wrapped in these feelings that could be called love. However, she hadn't been with anyone before, at first she didn't care at all about relationships in general. For some reason, she felt like a thorn when she saw Sasha with someone else. As if she didn't want her to be with that person.

Perhaps it was jealousy of friends, when one no longer spends so much time with the other because they are in a relationship. The more she thought about it, it didn't seem like that was the case. She kind of wanted him to see her as something more, she wasn't sure if she wanted to be romantic, if so… Why did she yearn for her adoration? Why did he want her lips to be his alone?

When she realized the obvious she didn't want to believe it, having been friends for so long she found it hard for her to aspire to be anything more. Damn sometimes he wondersWhy did everything have to be so complicated?

"Marbles. "

"Eh? What happened? "

"You stayed immersed in your own world, that happened. "

"Oh yeah. Sorry, I did not realize. "

"What were you thinking? I hope it's on me. "

"It was nothing... "

This answer didn't convince her, but she didn't want to force her to confess if she didn't want to. Maybe she wanted to distract herself with something else, which wasn't bad.

"You're going to my Halloween party, right? You know I throw the best parties. " she said throwing flowers at herself, it wasn't like before in the sense that all the poison she possessed was gone. She still retained a certain part of her personality that her opposite found attractive.

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it for anything. " she assured. Being honest, she wasn't a fan of parties and crowds of people, but if Sasha asked her, she couldn't refuse.

Two weeks went by normally, in this short period of time the girls didn't meet much except to talk from time to time. She understood why they couldn't see each other often, they were both full of things to do and finding time to see each other was impossible. Still, this didn't stop the feelings between the two from growing exponentially.

The one who realized this at first was Sasha, she already had experience with past relationships and was sure that Marcy was interested in her. There was no doubt about it, she would make the first move no matter what. She trusted her abilities to win people over, however she wanted to make sure that her beloved felt the same way about her. For the first time in her life, she wanted a serious relationship, where nothing was games or a one-night stand.

She was at cheerleading practice, new members had recently joined and she needed to bring them up to speed. They practiced flexibility and some movements for the competition that was soon to come, the team was her pride in a way. Even as a captain, she learned something new from everyone.

When practices were over she changed her outfit and since she had no classes left she would go home, it was Friday and she usually went out with her friends somewhere. But she was a bit tired, so she had better rest for the rest of the weekend.

On the outskirts of the school was her precious baby: her motorcycle, since she got it she had even used it to go to the convenience store. She loved the sound of the wheels against the road, and the sound of the engine. She was also a fan of adrenaline, so they complemented each other perfectly.

She noticed that someone was looking closely at her new possession, perhaps too close to her for her liking. She was wearing a hood and had her back turned, she approached to face this person.

"Hey! Don't you dare touch her. "

She grabbed her shoulder, she hadn't recognized who she was until she forced her to turn around, it was Marcy. For a moment she felt awkward for having spoken to him like that, who knows it could even be considered intimidation.

"Sasha? "

"Oh. I didn't realize it was you, sorry about that. "

"Do not worry. Being able to her and ended up breaking it by mistake. "

Her comment made her blonde burst out laughing, although it was true that the Asian was somewhat distracted, that seemed cute to her. Now that they were reunited, her plans changed 180°.

"Did you finish all your classes?"

"Yep. Today I did a somewhat difficult exam, although not so much for me. It was a piece of cake. "

"I imagine you'll get an A+."

"I hope so. "

Come on Sasha, tell him. Invite her.

"And... will you walk away?"

"I think so, my parents can't come pick me up today because of work. "

Bingo.

"I can take you home, if you like."

"I wouldn't want to bother you."

"It's no big deal. Get up. "

Sasha handed a helmet to the black-haired girl who had no choice but to put it on, the two girls got on the motorcycle who was driven by the older one.

Compared to the Asian, the blonde did not wear a helmet, since she did not see it as necessary. Clearly, there was no lack of comment from the minor who reminds her that it is dangerous. Sasha didn't hesitate to use this to her advantage, it meant that he cared about her. Upon realizing that, she Marcy blushed to the extreme. She snatched the words from his throat, it was already obvious to the blonde.

The rest of the way they didn't say much, in less than the expected time they were already outside the house of the Wu.

She stopped in front of the house, Marcy got off the motorcycle and thanked her partner for bringing her.

As she was about to walk towards the door of the house, she heard a female voice.

"Won't you invite me in? I haven't come here for a long time. "

The black-haired woman was surprised, she did not expect this statement so suddenly. Having her in her house made her nerves shoot up, her hands would get sweaty but for her it was her chance to spend quality time with her crush. She wanted to have her close to her, it was probably too obvious.

"Clear. "

...

The young women went to the Asian girl's room. In the months that had passed, not much had changed. The occasional extra poster but nothing so radical. In front of her bed was her video game console and her TV, Sasha was aware of her love for them and her somewhat insane obsession with her.

Although she knew they were important to her, they decided to sit on the floor in the room to play more comfortably. Maybe they would play a couple of games and nothing more, the intentions of the older one were much more than just playing video games. If everything went according to plan, she would become his girlfriend.

When Marcy played she really put her all into it, she was disconnected from the world around her and she could easily spend days doing it non-stop. For Sasha it was like a double edged sword, it was lovely to see how Marcy would get excited when she won but she wanted her attention to focus on what was important.

The atmosphere after some games was one of romantic tension, clearly Sasha wanted to go into action but found it difficult when the person she wanted to conquer did not take her eyes off the screen. It would take longer than she thought.

The blonde was frustrated by the situation, and for some reason the Asian finally realized this. She was afraid that she had done something to make her angry or she would find herself bored.

She paused the game and put the controller away from her as she tried to get Sasha to make eye contact, which she succeeded in making her look back at her making butterflies in her stomach.

They both adored the sight of the other, she felt it was too good to be true. In less time than expected they continued to look at each other, inside Sasha she hoped that Marcy would take the initiative and admit her feelings. For a long time she had noticed the signs that she felt something from her, although if she had to take the initiative she could brag about it later.

She unconsciously caressed her cheek, she felt how soft her skin was. This made her smile slightly as neither of them did anything. They enjoyed each other's presence and breath, even this was not enough.

He brought her face slightly closer to hers, you could hear the sound of her hearts beating from her. They were nervous but nothing could ruin that moment.

Her noses touched and her lips came together in a longed-for kiss, the lack of experience of the Asian was notable but that did not stop them from continuing on their own.

It was finally happening, what she dreamed of so much and she believed possible only in her fantasies became reality. The happiness she experienced was inexplicable, it had been reciprocated. The flame of love grew more and more between the two.

Due to the lack of air they separated from the kiss, timid and impatient looks were dedicated. They needed to break with all that tension that existed before, they no longer had to put up with it. Words were superfluous in this context, they just wanted to love each other until they couldn't.

The Asian woman dared and rejoined her lips with the opposite, who reciprocated with pleasure. They were innocent and full of affection kisses, every now and then Sasha left small kisses on her cheeks and around her face, Marcy placed her arms around the neck of the opposite caressing her hair carefully.

The young blonde placed her hands on the waist of her black-haired girl, they didn't seem to want to remove them from there at all. They hugged each other feeling the body heat of the other, the emotion of the moment passed slowly, but inside the two teenagers felt satisfied. They wanted to stay together all afternoon and, if possible, all night.

When they separated from the hug, the first one who spoke was Marcy.

"I like you. I always liked you. " — she confessed, still feeling a slight nervousness.

Sasha didn't expect Marcy to be the first to speak, nothing could hide the relief and joy she felt. She gave him a look full of love, she was grateful to have him in her life. Because he never gave up on her, he was a better person. If not for that, she was capable and they would never have been together.

"Mar-Mar, I love you. I always loved you. "

She did not miss saying anything else, because they were more than happy.

The rumors that there was a new couple at school were not expected, everyone theorized who they could be. The least expected of all was that Sasha and Marcy were dating, but seeing him from another side, it was obvious that they would like each other.

Some students said that they saw them leave together on Friday and the versions of this same story varied depending on who was telling it, something was certain and that is that the two were together that day.

Anne did not pay much attention to what was being speculated, since it was most likely all false. Still, she found it strange that Marcy hadn't texted her back since the day they saw her leave with Sasha. She might have spent the whole weekend playing games and hadn't been paying attention to the phone, which was more likely.

However, everyone's suspicions were resolved when they saw the alleged couple arriving together on the motorbike. and the blonde, when they never came to school together or anything like that. Also when they started walking Sasha put one of her arms around Marcy's shoulder, making them closer.

However, this did not mean that they were something more. They simply showed affection as friends, that's what everyone thought until they gave each other a shy kiss in front of the Asian's locker. Instantly, everyone rushed to ask them when and how they had started, how long they had been dating, among other things.

They didn't mind showing their love in public, the students seemed to be in favor of the new school couple. Minus one person: Anne Boonchuy.

The two lovebirds were talking in the school hallway, the blonde had to leave soon so she kissed the knuckles of the other one who at any moment seemed like she was going to die of love.

"See you later at lunch, okay?"

"O-of course."

Her voice still trembled a bit when she was close to her, luckily this shyness was gradually losing itself the more time they spent together. They said goodbye affectionately and Marcy kept waving her hand from side to side even though the blonde had already left. They were really cloying and cheesy or so others perceived them, but seeing it from her perspective, they had waited a long time to be together.

The young Asian girl was truly entranced, she was more radiant than ever. She was taking out some books from her locker while behind her an acquaintance of hers was present.

"Marcy. "she called, which made the minor startle since she scared her a lot, when she noticed who it was she recomposed herself.

“Oh Anna-banana, it's you. How is everything?

"Really, Marcy? When were you planning to tell me? I had to find out for myself, I really did not expect it. "

"Sorry. It was something very sudden. It just... happened. "

"Very well, but why did she...? I mean, she's the most evil and controlling person we know. I don't understand how you can be with her. "

"That's not Sasha anymore. She got better for good, she assured you. You should listen to what she has to say. "

"Change? Excuse me, but it is most likely one of her tricks to make everyone believe that she is not how she used to be. The worst of all is that you fell for her manipulation too. "

The Thai doesn't measure the seriousness of her words, to say that this hurt the black-haired woman is saying little. In a certain part, she couldn't blame Boonchuy for her paranoia, Sasha hurt a lot of people in her past and she really felt sorry for that.

"Anne… I understand that you want to take care of me. I know you want the best for me, and she really appreciated your concern, but I need you to leave this to me, okay? "

The brunette didn't seem very convinced of the Asian's statement, something inside her told her that it was impossible for her ex-friend to have changed. Sasha being kind and considerate to everyone is inconsistent with what she has previously shown. She adored Marcy with all her soul, she was afraid that her blonde will end up hurting her or using her as an object until he gets bored of her and discards her.

"It will break your heart. You know how she is with her relationships, she doesn't take it seriously at all. "

"...Are you implying that I'm something temporary?"

"Unfortunately yes. "

This was already crossing another line, she had known Anne since she was a child and was very fond of her. However, these comments of hers did not give him a good feeling. The idea that Sasha had not changed and everything was acting could be a probability, yes, but Marcy blindly trusted her now girlfriend. I wouldn't let them talk about her like this.

"Anne. " Her tone stopped being sweet as usual, and now it was more somber and dry. "If you don't want to accept that Sasha changed, that's your problem. I recommend that you stop getting involved in my relationship, I care about your opinion, but this is already invasive. "

The one with curly hair froze, expecting that kind of answer from Marcy was not common. She even seemed like another person, she was about to say something else but her partner had left. She was lying if she didn't say that it left her confused.

Lunchtime came, all the students were chatting about her day and how they hated classes.

The blonde handed out invitations to several SJMS students, all hoping to receive an invitation to the best parties of the year organized by one of the most popular girls. This event was also an excuse in a certain part to introduce her first official partner, she was proud of her girl and she wanted to show it off to everyone.

Anne was sitting aside at another table accompanied by other people, when Sasha approached her she turned her gaze towards her food. There was discomfort and contempt between the two, more than anything it came from the brunette not being able to forgive.

Although she didn't want to talk to her, Sasha left her an invitation on the table in case she wanted to go. She didn't feel resentment or annoyance towards her, if they could all be the group from before it would be ideal. It was up to her whether to go or not, a part of her hoped None of the blonde hoped that if it were and in this way they would make peace.

When she finished handing out the invitations she sat down with Marcy to eat. Next to them were some of Sasha's cheerleader friends accompanying them.

They talked without any problem, that peace and tranquility would be interrupted by a particular individual.

“Uhh, so we have the two 'queers' in the class. What a novelty. "

She raised her voice so loud that everyone seemed to hear it, it was obvious who they were referring to. On the first try she was looking to provoke them, to make them angry or similar to the reaction she expected. The blonde found this annoying, someone desperately trying to get attention, so pathetic.

That boy definitely didn't know who he was messing with. In the past, if something like that happened to him, he would smash her face against the wall. However, in these cases there was not much left to do. He couldn't change people's minds when his mind is very closed. She ignored all these provocations, so they gradually increased.

“They are afraid to confront each other. They are two little patients who don't know how to fight."

Her anger began to be present, this way of referring to them made her really angry. At times like this, remembering what she had learned in therapy was helpful. She knew that responding with violence was not her solution, even if they were disrespecting her to this extent.

Sasha got up from her chair, everyone could feel that aura that emanated aggressiveness. The others remained silent and watched expectantly as the boy who had previously spoken ill of her and her girlfriend approached. She cornered him right where she was, she had no intention of letting him escape.

"Good. You already have my attention, was this what you wanted, resentful? "

The young man remained silent, his knees trembled but he would not let it be seen that he felt intimidated by the blonde's presence.

"I-I'm just telling the truth."

"I see, and you maintain that posture?"

She nodded not being entirely sure what would happen next, the girl let out a laugh, she was literally making fun of him to her face. He was another child looking to cause conflict, nothing new or surprising to her. What if no one expected, is that the boy will react by hitting her in the face.

She stepped back and brought her hand to where the source of the pain was, touching it she realized that she was bleeding. That idiot was making her lose her sanity.

Those present exclaimed in surprise, the teachers weren't around so they all started shouting 'Fight!' Nobody expected that the situation would escalate to the point where there would be a confrontation, the blonde wanted to sweep the floor with him and humiliate him in front of everyone. She started counting in her mind to relax, she should think twice before making an impulsive decision.

She would not be influenced by the environment, so much effort would not be in vain. Also, when she got mad he was a real devil. He wasn't prepared to fight someone his size.

She wiped away some of the blood running down his cheek, gave him a murderous look even though his voice was cool and calm.

“You should take responsibility for what you say. Still, I won't waste my time with your childish behavior. "

Sasha walked out of the cafeteria, most of them expecting her to give him a good blow considering how explosive she can be. She simply left without further ado, without making such a fuss.

Who really didn't believe it was the Thai, Sasha never controlled herself or avoided a fight. Much more so if her reputation in the eyes of others was being threatened. She couldn't be, that is...

How did it go from being like this? Was what Marcy said about her true? Many doubts invaded her mind, the only way to verify it was in the palm of her hands. She would go to that party.

October, 31.

The lights decorated the city with the vibe of Halloween, the houses were perfectly decorated with fake skulls and cobwebs. Tonight was going to be special, for many reasons.

He had gone to great lengths to throw the perfect party that everyone expected, and he was going to give it to them without a doubt.

For that day he already planned what costume he would use. However... Plans changed a bit, Marcy wanted her to wear a costume that she made by hand.

I mean, she was cute, she couldn't refuse her request. As much as it was something she would never use of her own volition, she understood the meaning behind it. The Asian wore a similar one to match, the suits weren't too bad. The theme of being dressed as insects did not attract her attention, but if someone dared to make fun of her, she would automatically kick him out of the house.

The two were preparing the last decorations before the people arrived, music, drinks, almost everything was ready. While they prepared what was missing, she hoped with all her might to solve the fight she had with her ex-friend.

Marcy had told her that she had helped her make her suits, so she had made hers too. Did it mean that she was no longer in eye? Probably not, although it was a huge advance even though they haven't talked yet.

She was confident in her skills as a hostess and decided to get the party started, people were starting to come in large groups of people. Even uninvited people slipped in. Most of the people were teenagers, most of them were dancing, some were away from the crowd to be alone.

As far as it goes, everyone was having a good time, the music was playing at full volume and they were enjoying the atmosphere. Sasha had drink in hand, chatting with Marcy on a large sofa as they hugged.

She was attended by a special guest, the Thai who had mixed with the crowd. Her suit called her attention a lot, seeing them all together it seemed that they wanted to combine. It was not unusual, they had done it a few times and this year it was not to be expected. That said, the case was different since her friendship was supposed to be broken.

She searched exhaustively among the people and how big the house was, she knew the place since she had been there a couple of times, even so she did not avoid getting lost in the crowd of people.

After minutes of searching, she was able to see them both. They looked good together, like a happy couple. She standing there looking at them as she wondered if they really needed her. She always felt slightly inferior and it was something she had to figure out. She needed to talk seriously and fix everything.

The two young women noticed the presence of someone else, when they saw her they remained silent and an uncomfortable silence ruled. The only thing that could be heard was the music and the voices of the other guests. Anne cleared her throat a little and approached without being so direct.

"Hello... "

"Yes you came, Anna-banana!"

Marcy got up from her position to give her a hug, Sasha just waved and looked the other way. She wanted to talk to Anne for so long and she couldn't find a way to express what she wanted to say.

"Sure, I wouldn't miss the best party of the year." The brunette bragged, unconsciously this made the blonde smile as she remembered that it was the phrase she always used for all her events.

They all looked at each other if, somehow they understood what should happen.

Marcy left the scene, she wasn't much for socializing with strangers but she felt more confident, she knew most of them. The Thai sat next to the blonde, they didn't say anything for a while, they had to break this silence somehow.

"Er... Your make-up is really cute." she blurted out unexpectedly, the compliment was well received by the brunette.

"Thanks. I'm surprised you're wearing the costume that Marcy and I made. "

“Well, she asked me and she couldn't say no. After all, she wasn't going to let you all steal all eyes. "

This comment made the Thai laugh, it misses her sense of humor, she already misses everything about her friendship. Getting away and having time to think helped a lot. The old Sasha and the one now had slight differences, charming and playful personality without that toxic and harmful side. Seeing how the blonde didn't even bother about the fight in the cafeteria was shocking, although she still needed to see it with her own eyes.

"Sasha. "

"Anne. "

They said in unison, apparently they had a lot to talk about.

"You speak first."

"No, I insist, you do it. "

“I think what you want to tell me is more important now.

She mentally braced herself to choose the right words. The fate of her relationship depended on it.

"Anne. " she began. "Previously, I always apologized to you for the arguments I caused, even though I apologized, I didn't see the real problem behind it all. All my apologies were empty, I didn't really feel sorry, I was just saying it to keep you under my control. I feel that you deserve a sincere person, who does not lie to you or hurt you as I have done, your friendship was one of the few good things I had in my life, when you left, I hated you deeply. So much resentment and negativity flooded my body, I was in an endless cycle from which I couldn't escape. I recently began to realize why I acted like this, I have changed a lot. Even I'm surprised, I thought you were the problem but actually it was me. I unconsciously saw you... inferior, I didn't mean to make you feel that way. Nothing justifies or changes what I did. I know this redemption thing is cliche of me, but... "

She clenched her fists tightly, she needed to say it at once.

"... Sorry. For all. And this time it's real, I swear. " Her eyes indicated that she might soon cry, she needed to hold on more. Her tone of voice made her look vulnerable, exposed to one of the people in whom she would entrust her life without hesitation.

The young Thai was moved, she had never seen Sasha like this. She made him realize how fragile she could be. It was a side of her that she was barely getting to know, the tears of the opposite of her slipping down her cheeks listening to a small sob. I know how to hug, in a way, they consoled each other. As much as it may not seem, Anne was also broken inside.

She didn't want to hate him, that made her feel worse. Forgiveness is the greatest act of love that can be done, earning someone's forgiveness is not easy. It requires time, effort and dedication. Lastly, you must be worthy of this one. At the same time, forgiving is the hardest thing to do.

Being hugged she put her chin on her shoulder, it was close to her ears so there was no need to speak so loudly.

“Sasha, I want you to know that I always loved you. I feel like I needed your approval to feel enough, I didn't see the damage you caused me the first few times. I guess stuff like that happens when you're really young, right? "

With each word the blonde clung to the opposite, as if she needed her protection. Her crying became more noticeable.

"There are many that I regret having told you, although in a certain way I am glad that they have made you react. You were my first and oldest friend, I love when you laugh, talk or when you just exist. To me, you will always be my friend. I think we have both learned from each other. You are completely forgiven, Sashi. "

"Sashi?"

"You do not like? Or do you prefer that I keep calling you Sash? "

"It is perfect. " she smiled, even with her notable sadness, she wiped away her tears and remarkably recomposed herself. They shared complicit glances, their friendship was not going to be the same after this, although it was going to improve. For the first time they were honest without arguing, it was liberating for both of them.

Anne took her hand to the nape of her somewhat embarrassed, she raised her clenched fist towards Sasha.

"Sashanne against the world?"

The blonde smiled back, Anne remembered the nickname they had given as children, she made her feel that everything would be fine. The first bump reciprocated.
