The girl she used to be

She was just a little girl,

With dreams as big as the sky.

And dancing in the rain,

Happiness is what she claims.

But it was all just until she started growing up,

Her happiness fading off of her like the clouds cover the sun up.

She thought she'd be accepted as she was,

In this cruel world,

Until she wasn't.

She tried and tried,

To be what everyone else wanted her to be,

But in the end,

She lost herself in the endless sea...
