Über purple but utilised unwisely 💜 (1.4⭐️)

"Plot This story used a mixed plot with minimal flashback, but it's uncertain where the plot actually moves forward to. With each new chapters you'll get to see a changing conflict and new characters that expand the mythos, but not clear where the author steers the plot to. The only sense of unity within the plot was that we're following Vesi's story. Characters Vesi as the protagonist, deserves better treatment. We never know how he looks like and the cosmic tapestry revolves around Vesi when it shouldn't. The Goddess of Water was also vague because her physical form wasn't described much, and despite being a goddess (A being higher than celestial shark), she's notoriously dependent on Vesi. The Creator was supposingly the God of the universe but was heavily downplayed. Morale message Each chapter shared a morale message that the author wanted to convey, and that is relatable to the characters. POV Third person omniscient, but we should be getting more than what we get. Set The world-building is novel. Vesi is a species of celestial shark that's chosen to be a guardian, and he gets to train with other guardians. However, it's never clear why some species is chosen as guardian and why others aren't. The Goddess of Water herself is a Goddess, but she's a guardian as well, which seems like a redundancy. The famed Cosmic tapestry could be explored more vividly, but the purpleness gets in the way. Genre adherence One thing the author handled well is writing this book for fantasy fans. The flowery phrase beautify its fantastic elements but needs better placements. So we'll get a story that's breathtaking, vivid, and concise."
