Chapter 1
it was a rainy day. i had just came back from school and found out that nobody was home that day, i put my school bag pack on the sofa and went straight to the kitchen as i was super hungry and to my horror i heard the sound of footsteps approaching so i went back to the living room to make sure nobody was there and then i decided to put on a comfy oversized sweater first and then get along with my day.
the weather outside was so beautiful and thrilling, the enthralling song of the rain was melodious to ears, it was a dark academia lovers' favorite kind of day, the grey clouds were dominant, making afternoon appear almost like midnight but there was a little bit of light cracking through the clouds.
the weather was tempting me to have cozy plans for the rest of my day so i turned on the TV, put my hair down, brought some of my favorite snacks from the kitchen and sat comfortably on the couch which my blanket and lots of cushions around as though I've had a long day but i didn't. After a few hours the power went off and i ringed my mother
"hey mom, when will you be home and where are you right now?"
"honey, i and your grandmother have come to the post office to collect some money and complete some formalities we'll be home in a few hours, don't go outside to play as it's raining heavily and have your lunch."
"okay be home as soon as possible, the power went off and i am quite scared!"
"don't be scared, sit by the window and undraw the curtains, we're about to be on our way back home, bye."
"bye, mom"
so i went to the window, opened up the curtains and sat there watching the pouring rain and the plants dancing, that was my favorite view to watch, i clicked a few pictures and was sending them to my friends' group chat when i heard the telephone ring and went to answer it but there was nobody on the other side.
