Chapter 1
Peter Parker’s POV :
Life had never seemed to be on his side. His so called Parker luck was something he knew to dread and yet nothing could have prepared him for this. Although he should have known something would go wrong, he went on a space ship that went directly in outer space, what was he expecting? Mister Stark had seemed terrified the second Peter had made his presence known, and the teenager didn’t really get why. After all he could help and something was telling him that Mister Stark could use all the help he could get, so why did he seemed so scared? Peter had to admit, if things had been different and if they hadn’t been in a life or death situation he probably would have freaked out about being in space and on another planet at that, he knew Ned would forever be jealous of him that was for sure. But in the end he should have known something would go wrong, Dr Strange had said it, they only won once… One single time in more than 14 million possibility. How the hell were they supposed to beat that kind of odds? But it all became clear when the warlock gave away the time stones to Thanos. They weren’t gonna win. This wasn’t the one, they had failed. That in itself was a hard truth to experience, but what came after was what really made it hit. Thanos had disappeared, and while everyone was catching they’re breath, the blue robotic woman gasped. As everyone turned toward her, they saw her slowly turning into dust.
“He did it.” She whispered before vanishing completely
Peter’s eyes widen, did she just died in front of them? What the hell was happening? His spidey sense made him turn his head toward Mister Stark. It was like the world had stopped moving, no one dared to move, or even breath and really it took Peter a whole second to understand what was happening. Mister Stark, his mentor, the closest thing he had to a father, was turning to dust in front of his eyes, and there was nothing he could do to stop this. The teenager fell to his knees, to level himself down in front of the man he looked up to.
“Don’t leave me. Please you can’t die, don’t leave me. Mister Stark…” He begged the man
This one rose a trembling hand to the boy and brushed his cheek with it.
“I’m sorry.” Was all he said before all was left of him was dust in the wind
Peter didn’t move, staring at his hand, watching as his world fell apart. Nobody moved, nor said anything. What were they supposed to do? The spider kid didn’t seem to be aware of anything happening around him, he just stayed there, on his knees, silently crying. Until he heard a voice.
“Kid. We need to move.” Dr Strange called gently
His eyes rose to look at him, and suddenly, Peter felt himself filled with a monstrous rage.
“It’s your fault.” He growled, fixing his eyes on the man responsible for all of this.
The man’s survival instinct must have kick in because he took a step back, is hand in front of him to show the kid he wasn’t a threat. But all of this meant nothing to Peter, all he was seeing was the person responsible for the death of yet another one of his loved ones. He stood up and started advancing toward the man. He never reached his target though, he felt hands around his head and suddenly everything turned black.

Shuri’s POV :
Shuri had always known that her brother wasn’t immortal, she knew it. But she had always hoped that he would be there as long as she would. It was chaos in front of her, she saw the devastation as little by little people she had knew her whole life slowly turned to dust. Despite all of that, the only thing she knew in that moment, was that her brother was gone. Turned to dust, and she couldn’t do anything but watch as it happened. For the first time in her life, she saw Okoye with a look of fear in her eyes, for the first time in her life she realized that she did not have a miracle solution for what just happened, for the first time in her life, she knew… They had lost. She didn’t want to think, she didn’t want to feel but without her controlling it, her brain was working faster than it ever had. What exactly had happened? What was going to happen now? How were they supposed to go on now that the world was changed forever? She couldn’t crumble, she wouldn’t, Shuri had to be strong, for her people, for her brother. She’ll find a way, even if it takes her years, she’ll find a way to fix this. But first she had to control what was happening now. The sudden retreat of the alien army was what made her move. It made sense, she thought, that got what they wanted, it was over, of course they would leave. She walked slowly toward Okoye, and she helped her up.
“We must help everyone. Gather the wounded and lead them to the infirmary.” Shuri said with a stern voice
The woman in front of her nod, and turned around to do as she was told. The princess didn’t linger, she had to keep going, for she knew if she stop she wouldn’t be able to go on. On her right, she spotted Bucky, on his knees, his shoulder shaking. She walked up to him and put her hand on his shoulder, for comfort.
“Who?” She asked, knowing he would understand
He took a moment, catching his breath before he answered.
“Steve.” He said, his voice sounded hollow
“Thor, too. And Natasha, and Rhodey and Dr Banner.” Sam Wilson stated, walking toward them, his face closed off as if he was trying no to cry.
“Groot too.” A sad voice added.
It was the raccoon that had talked, Shuri nodded her head and looked around her. There on this field only three Avengers and a raccoon remained. What the hell was she supposed to do? She had to know, she had to see how much of her people were gone.
“We have to get you people checked out. We’ll figure this out. We have too.” Shuri stated
They all looked at her with something in their eyes that she hated, pity. She did not want to get angry, she was too tired for that, so she turned around and started to walked toward her building. She was soon stopped in her track when a sound of crackling made her turn around. In front of her some sort of portal started to appear. She activated her vibramium gauntlet, ready to fight whoever came through but she stopped when she recognized the man coming through as Dr Strange. He was followed by a weird looking woman with antennas, and two other man, the one that did not look human was carrying an unconscious boy that appeared to be Shuri’s age.
“I apologize for the disturbance Princess but we seem to be in the need of some help.” Dr Strange said politely
She nodded, gesturing for everyone to follow her as she lead them to the hospital center.
