New beginings

One day, Wilbur was walking down the street. He had his phone in his hand and a Starbucks drink that he was drinking in the other hand. The street he was walking on was very dead, with little to no one on it or around it. Wilbur was used to this, as he took this road to and from school every day.

Suddenly, he heard someone talking and laughing. "What..?" He looked around to see who was making the sound, and the brit saw three boys walking down the other side of the street.

The one on the right was a boy who wore black and white with a fire mark on his shirt and his hair in buns on his head. The other on the left was a seemingly younger boy with a multi-color hoodie on and light brown hair that has the tips bleached, which made Wilbur think he'd dyed his hair recently. But the one in the middle caught the brunette's eye the most. He was a boy with a dark blue beanie covering most of his jet black hair, and a dark blue zipped-up jacket with white lines down the sides. What mostly confused Wilbur, was that this boy had yellow wings coming out of his back.

The winged one started speaking again, having an LA accent, but speaking Spanish words. "I'm just saying! He should maybe try to stop being such a puta and maybe, oh I don't know, get a life?"

The one on the left smiled. "Well yeah, but there's nothing we can do about him. He's just mean."

Wilbur didn't know what to do, but he recognized the one with the black and white outfit. He noticed his name was Nick, but everyone called him SapNap. He'd been in a couple classes with him, and had a class with him the next day. The brit figured he'd ask SapNap about the middle one in class.

When he got to school, Wilbur decided to walk around the school. He did that every single morning, and always ended up in the same area. The bathroom. Wilbur walked into the bathroom and sat against the wall, sliding his backpack and guitar case off and setting them next to him. He started scrolling through Twitter, when a boy walked in.

The second he walked in, The brit noticed him. It was the boy he was going to ask SapNap about. "Oh! Hello! I've seen you before!"

The boy flinched at Wilbur's enthusiasm. "Hi...do I know you...?"

Wilbur shook his head. "No, but I'd like to know you! My name is-"

"Yeah, I know who you are. You're Wilbur Soot, the school's music prodigy. You're kinda famous around the gossip circles. I'm Alex, but you can call me Quackity."

Wilbur smiled. "Oh! Okay, Quackity! That's a nice name!" He held his hand out to shake, which Quackity took. "You have wings."

The Mexican nodded. "Yeah, I'm part duck."

"How-?"

Quackity interrupted Wilbur's question. "Don't ask."

Wilbur nodded. "Right. So...this might be a bit forward, but can I have your number? So we can contact each other?"

Quackity thought about it for a second, then sighed and got his phone out. "Sure. Here, it's xxx-xxx-xxxx. Got that?"

The brit took out his own phone and typed in the number, reading it back to Quackity just to make sure. "Alright, so it's...xxx-xxx-xxxx..?"

The Mexican nodded. "Yep. Now you have my number, can I piss now?"

Wilbur laughed. "Yeah, sorry." He grabbed his bag and guitar case and left, sending Quackity a wink as he went. The second he got out of the bathroom though, he immediately regretted winking at him. "Why did I do that-? He literally needed to piss and I just winked at him-" Wilbur texted Quackity to let him know that was his number, and started to walk away, but saw someone walk into the bathroom right after. Someone who he knows and doesn't like. Johnathan Schlatt. He ran against Wilbur for student body president and won. Wilbur has hated him ever since.

When Schlatt went into the bathroom, he had a smirk on his face. "What was that look on his face...?" The brit followed Schlatt, and just watched from the door.

Quackity was leaning against the wall Wilbur was earlier, setting up Wilbur's contact information with a goofy smile on his face. He didn't notice Schlatt walk in, until his phone was ripped out of his hands. "Wha- hey-!" He gasped once he saw who took his phone. "Schlatt, I don't want any trouble just....please give me my phone back.?"

Schlatt studied the screen. "Where did you get the music freak's number?" The ram kept Quackity's phone, holding it hostage.

The Mexican blinked. "I saw him in the bathroom today and he asked for my number...I don't know why..."

Schlatt sighed angrily. "Listen...Alex.." he spit out Quackity's real name with venom in his voice. "....I'm gonna make sure you know who you belong to. And it is NOT that music freak, am I understood?" When Quackity didn't respond, Schlatt asked again. "I said...AM I UNDERSTOOD?!"

Quackity flinched, tears pricking at his eyes. "Yes..!"

Schlatt grabbed the Mexican's chin, tilting his head up for his eyes to meet Schlatt's. "Who do you belong to, rubber duckie?"

Quackity gulped. "Y-you.."

Schlatt gripped tighter. "Who?!"

The Mexican felt tears go down his cheeks. "You!! Ow, please let go!"

The brunette released his grip, letting Quackity fall to the floor crying. "Good. Remember that when you-"

A voice with a British accent and an irritated tone interrupted Schlatt's speaking. "Excuse me, but I believe that is a living person, not an object to belong to someone."

Schlatt turned around and was met face-to-face with Wilbur. "Well speak of the devil. Look, Alex, your little music freak friend has decided to stand up for you."

Wilbur smiled. "Nice to see you too Schlatt. now could you kindly let me tend to Quackity?"

Schlatt sighed, stepping away from the Mexican on the floor. "Fine. But Alex IS mine. And I'm not letting him go. You can play, and pretend to care about him, but no one actually does. I'm the only one who does, and he needs to get that inside his tiny Mexican duck head."

The second Schlatt walked away, Wilbur practically ran to Quackity. "Quackity! Are you alright? Did he hurt you?"

Quackity looked at Wilbur with confusion, before shaking his head. "N-no...sorry..I didn't mean to drag you into this.."

Wilbur sighed. "No Quackity...you didn't drag me into anything..I saw from the door.."

Quackity's eyes went wide. "Y-you saw?! Please don't report this to the school..I'll get blamed....please...I'll do anything-"

Wilbur covered Quackity's mouth gently, as to not scare the smaller. "Shh..it's okay. I won't do anything you don't want me to do. But, I will have to have a...little talk with Schlatt about this. I can't just let a new friend of mine get hurt."

Quackity sighed, looking at the ground. "New friend...yeah...sure...sorry.."

Wilbur cocked his head at the Mexican. "Sorry? Sorry for what? As far as I know you didn't do anything to me?" The Brit jumped up. "Did you put a piece of paper on me?? C'mon, I thought this generation was done with the whole 'kick me' signs!"

All of Wilbur's antics made Quackity laugh a bit. "No, I mean sorry for you helping me." The smile quickly faded from his face. "I just...it's just how he shows affection...I'm fine.."

Wilbur stopped trying to reach onto his back, and crouched down again so that he was eyes level with Quackity. "Don't be sorry for that. If thats how he shows affection, hes doing it wrong."

Quackity smiled. Wilbur was a lot nicer than the gossip circles made him seem. He sniffled. "Thank you..."

The warning bell rang, making the two jump. "Woah-" Wilbur breathed out in relief that it was just the bell. "Well, we should get to class." He laughed and helped Quackity up. "You have my number, so if anything happens-"

Quackity nodded, his eyes then widening. He checked all his pockets. "SHIT!! THE PUTA LEFT WITH MY PHONE!!"
