Caroline Forbes was a smart girl, that’s why she didn’t stayed in Mystic Falls after she turned her emotion off. After thinking about it for a second, her choice of destination stopped on New-Orleans. She knew she would be protected and she might also get hot hybrid sex in the mix. The blond started her stay by draining her taxi driver, before compelling a nearby human to go and bury the body for her. Caroline made her way to the French quarter, to a bar called Rousseau’s. The whole thing looked dead, she sight and made her way toward a vampire who was all but discreet while feeding.

‘’ Hey! You! ‘’ She called, the guy turned around, frowning. ‘’ Where can I find Klaus Mickealson?”

‘’ Who the hell are you? ’’ He growled

Without giving him time to think, she plunged her hand in his chest, taking his heart between her fingers.

‘’ Listen to me, honey ,I’m not really in the mood of being questioned, so you better answer or I’ll have to kill you. ‘’ She threatened

‘’ Ok, ok! ‘’ He gasped “You won’t find him at his place, I think it’s the new crazy vamp who’s got him. But she uber old, almost as old as he is.” He said

“Where does she have him?” Caroline demanded

The vampire gave her an address and sight in relief when she smiled.

“And now, I’m going to kill you.” She said

“But you said…” He started

“I lied.” And she ripped his heart

The blond had a satisfied smile on her face, lucky for her, the bar was totally empty. Turning around she left in direction of the place the vamp told her about. The building was huge, really the kind of place you live in when you have ego problems. She took the stairs - elevator were overrated - as she arrived at the good level, she heard voices.

“No! Don’t kill her! She took the serum, you kill her, we’re dead!” That was Klaus’s voice

Caroline manage to get in without anyone seeing her, she spotted a syringe that she guessed was to avoid killing whoever it was they shouldn’t kill, she took it and as if fate was on her side, the red-head girl took a step back and so was attainable for Caroline.

“You can’t kill me Nick! I’m your first love!” She yelled

Caroline stuck the syringe in the red-head vamp, and whispered in her ear.

“And I’m his last.”

The vamp fell to the ground and Caroline scanned the room. Klaus was chained in the middle of the room, looking at her with wide eyes, a blond woman was gasping at her right and she recognize Hayley who looked like she just woke up.

“Can’t you spend one year without drama?” Caroline sight

It took Klaus five minutes to figure out that she had turned it off, he didn’t push to know why. They went back to the compound before any of them really said a thing, once inside, Elijah came rushing to them. After making sure Klaus was fine, he finally noticed Caroline.

“Miss Forbes? What are you doing here?” He questioned

“I just saved you brother’s ass from a crazy red head vampire.” She replied with a smirk

“How did you bested Aurora?” Elijah asked, shocked

Hayley and Caroline were supporting Klaus’s weight, the blond took a step away, making him off balance, Hayley glared at her but she just shrugged.

“I’m used to kick the ass of elder vampires. I thought you were the most powerful creature in the world, how did you get beaten by a hoe?” Caroline wondered

The blond found it fun, New-Orleans was full of drama like Mystic Falls but without all the goody two shoes trying to bring her emotions back. She might stick around for a while.

“How did you found us, love?” Klaus asked, finally standing on his own.

“Some vampire in a bar told me, don’t know who it was but I guess he’s no more a problem without a heart.”

“Did you kill this vampire?” Elijah asked with a frown

“You are a smart cookie you know?” She rolled her eyes

“She turned her emotions off Elijah! Of course she would have killed him.” Hayley intervened

“You know what? You’re all boring, I’m out.” She flashed away before any of them could answer.

She found herself in the middle of the street, but before she could do anything, she felt a sharp pain in her head, Caroline spent enough time with witches to know when it was a spell done on her.

“Fucking witches!” She growled

As sudden as it happened, the pain disappeared, and screams rose from the dark alley in front of her. When the screams stopped, Caroline could see a dark figure approaching her, light was made on who her savior was, it was a euphemism to say she was surprised to see Kai Parker standing in front of her.

“What the hell are you doing here?!” The blond exclaimed

“I was bored in Mystic Falls. So I followed you here.” Kai shrugged

Caroline stopped a second to think, she wasn’t stupid, she knew it was better to have this guy on her side rather than against her, and she knew exactly how to get him.

“I have a proposition.” She smirked
