Penelope (Poppie) Matthews had reached her limit. She had already been dealt a bad hand at life, having aged out of an orphanage at 18 yr old. Born in Chicago, she knew she had to do what she needed to do to survive. Five years later, she’s still trying to survive by make a living, at a temp job to bring in some cash but with no skills, it’s not enough.

Her friend, Shayla, introduces her to a way of making some cash and have fun at the same time. Shayla and her drug dealer boyfriend, Mike, hosts “Play Parties” and everyone has to pay an entrance fee.

As luck would have it, the house gets raided ending with Shayla and Mike arrested, leaving Poppie desperate for cash as Shayla has no choice but to leave town, leaving Poppie to fend on her own.

Just as things started to look bad, Shayla returns and introduces Poppie to a world that she’d never thought she would be a part of, run by the famous and infamous owner of Elegant Industries.

Vanessa McBride is a strong and powerful business woman with an outstanding reach. She owns and runs a very elegant and well established escort service for high profile individuals. She beautifies girls to become exquisite women and pay them well in return. When Shayla introduces Poppie to Vanessa, Poppie’s world turns around.

Things are going great - until one fateful night, a turn of events leave Poppie and a government official fighting for their lives.

Vanessa takes control of the situation to save Poppie’s life. Because she believes Poppie is the person she’s been searching for to help her with a secret of her own. In the meantime, she decides to take down the government official who has been trying to shut her down.

Samuel, Vanessa’s son, becomes fascinated with Poppie and wonders why his mother is so close to her. Vanessa has been searching for someone for Samuel and feels that Poppie may be the only person who would understand and accept Samuel for the secrets he holds.
