Lost? - Chapter 1 - Felix/ Persephoni
“Felix! Felix, I can’t see!”
“Persephoni! Where are you?”
No response.
“Persephoni! Persephoni, I don’t want to play games right now, where are you?”
Yet again, met with no response.
“Persephoni!” Felix begins to wail, quickly turning into a cry.
Minutes pass in a slow formation as Felix awaits his cries to be met with another.
“Persephoni! Sephie, please I want to go home.” He cries, one last time. Losing hope after silence meets his call...
“Felix! Felix, can you hear me?” Persephoni’s best friend calls from the depths of the night. “Felix, help! She’s hurt.”
Felix wastes not even a second, not even a breath, before he runs toward the echo, running to his sister’s aid.
Blood. So much blood. His sister laying on the cold, mossy, forest floor.
“Oh god, Sephie. Sephie, I’m sorry.”
“Felix.” She cradles his face in her dirty, bruised left hand.
He pulls her almost lifeless body to his chest. Causing a whimper to erupt out of her now closing throat.
“I shouldn’t have left. I shouldn’t have left you on your own. I’m sorry, it’s my fault.” She falls limp in his hands, and her eyes attempt to flutter shut slowly, death tempting her.
The last words to exit her mouth are in an almost silent whisper.
“Chimaera.” And she falls limp.
Felix is to now carry the weight of his ‘dead’ sister on his back. Killing the child left inside.
Cursing him with the blood of her undead soldier. Causing death wherever he is to go, or life. A path only the wisest can choose.
