21ST JULY, 1997.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Adefarati,
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to bring to your attention some observations and concerns regarding your daughter, Zara, during her time at Calla Lily Elementary.
Throughout her time at our institution, Zara has displayed a unique set of behaviors that have caught the attention of both her teachers and peers. While she is undeniably intelligent and creative, we have noticed several areas of concern that we believe require your attention and support.
Academically, Zara shows great potential. She demonstrates exceptional writing skills and often expresses herself in a creative and imaginative manner. However, there have been instances where her focus and attention seem to waver, leading to inconsistent performance. It would be beneficial to address any factors that might be contributing to these fluctuations.
Socially, she displays a tendency to isolate herself at times. We have observed her preferring solitary activities over interacting with her classmates. While we respect individual preferences, we believe that encouraging healthy social interactions could enhance her overall well-being and sense of belonging.
Additionally, there have been moments when Zara appears emotionally overwhelmed, showing signs of anxiety and unease. We have made efforts to support her through our counseling services, but we recommend exploring further avenues of professional assistance to help her cope with any underlying issues that may be affecting her emotional state.
It is essential to nurture her strengths while addressing these concerns. We encourage open communication between you, your daughter, and her educators to better understand her needs and ensure a conducive learning environment.
We believe that with your support and guidance, Zara can flourish and overcome any challenges she may face. Should you wish to discuss these matters further, please do not hesitate to schedule a meeting with her teachers and our counseling team.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We remain committed to providing the best possible support for your daughter’s academic and personal growth.
Sincerely,
Mrs. A. O. Sosa,
Proprietor,
Calla Lily Elementary, Port-Harcourt.
