Mia is invited by her friend Alexis to the hip Moonlight Club to meet Alexis' new boyfriend with the other girls of the girls gang. Unlike most of Mia's friends, she is just an ordinary person. She has no influence, no wealth, and no special abilities. At the Moonlight Club, however, she meets not only Alexi's new friend, but also the enigmatic Alpha Elias, who is known for his disrespectful attitude towards humans. Especially human women are just toys for him, that's an open secret. Despite these differences between Mia and Elias, an unexpected connection seems to form that night. A strange attraction develops between the two, a connection that quickly becomes hot and intense. But as suddenly as Elias appeared, he disappeared again, as if everything that had happened between them had only been a fleeting moment. Will they ever meet again, and if so, will Mia succeed in changing him and his opinion of people?
Initially, when the shapeshifters, witches and vampires appeared a good three decades ago, there was horror and fear in the world. But people quickly came to terms with the novelties, what else could people do? They signed peace treaties, somehow all managed to live together as if it had always been so.
