CHAPTER 1
In a realm where Vampires and Devils exist, their appearances might deceive, as they resemble ordinary humans, concealing their true selves from the world. Despite their physical similarities, the two creatures possess distinct abilities that set them apart. Throughout history, they engaged in fierce power struggles, exploiting their unique strengths and weaknesses to gain an advantage over each other.
However, the tides of discord began to change when six elders emerged – three from the Devils and three from the Vampires – determined to forge a path towards peace. Together, they harnessed their forces to create a legendary artifact, a mythical rock of power, safeguarded within the enigmatic temple of IOVAN, shrouded in secrecy known only to them.
In their wisdom, the six elders compiled a profound green book, encapsulating their intertwined history, a map leading to IOVAN, and the key to unlock its secrets. Leaving no trace of the book's location, they vanished into the mysterious realm of Limbo.
Through their unprecedented actions, an era of tranquility settled upon the land, fostering harmony between the once-warring Vampires and Devils for thousands of years. However, as time passed, a new challenge arose when a union between a Vampire royal and a Devil royal gave birth to the Trips, a unique hybrid. Physically indistinguishable from their predecessors, the Trips inherited the combined powers of both creatures.
Over the ages, the Trips multiplied in number under the rule of a queen. Driven by ambition, they set their sights on the green book and the rock of power, yearning to wield dominance over the world. With a meticulously crafted plan in hand, they embarked on their quest, unaware of the unforeseen consequences that awaited them.
In the ever-evolving tale of Vampires, Devils, and Trips, the destiny of these extraordinary beings intertwines, enthralling and captivating the hearts of those who dare to explore the depths of their extraordinary world.
★★★★★★★★★
Ordo Highschool, a miraculous wonder, or what could only be described as a "miracle." By day, it appeared to be an ordinary high school, but when the night fell, it transformed into a school of magic, attended by descendants of Devils and Vampires.
Nora, Zoe, and Sian were among the students who attended this extraordinary school. Nora was a Vampire, while Zoe and Sian identified as Devils. The three of them were best friends, with Nora and Zoe having been childhood companions and Sian entering the picture during high school.
One day, a human named Abigail walked into the class and occupied Sessy's seat, another human. "Have you seen the new fashion line by Madam Zist? It's absolutely divine," Abigail exclaimed.
"I've seen it too! The baby pink gown is my favorite," Sassy replied with excitement.
"I know, right? It looks so regal. I wish I were royal," Abigail sighed.
"Will you two just be quiet!" Zoe exclaimed with disgust from across the class where she was sitting with Nora and Sian.
"It's not our fault that you like goth," Sessy retorted.
"And it's none of our business that you two are pink princesses. Just keep it down," Nora added, already feeling annoyed.
"Stupid humans!" Sian muttered to herself, but Abigail overheard her.
"Well, you're a human too, stupid!" Abigail shot back and stormed out of the class, with Sessy following behind her.
"These girls disgust me. I wonder how I've been able to put up with them," Sian vented.
The bell rang, and Mrs. Olivia, the physics teacher, entered the class. All the students adjusted themselves. There were a total of forty-six students in the class, excluding Sessy and Abigail.
"Today, we will be discussing Quanta. Does anyone have an idea about this?" Mrs. Olivia asked. Pamela, the class nerd, raised her hand to answer the question.
"Thank you, Pamela" Mrs Olivia replied.
" Quanta is the study of atoms in relation to electromagnetic energy," Pamela said.
"Give her a round of applause," Mrs. Olivia said, acknowledging Pamela's response.
"By the way, where are Sessy and Abigail?" Mrs. Olivia inquired. A heavy silence followed as no one dared to speak up, and so Mrs. Olivia continued with the class. The lesson went by quickly, and soon school was over. The students returned to their dorms, while the day students went home.
Nora, Sian, and Zoe shared a room. As soon as they reached their dorm, they each went to their respective beds and fell asleep almost immediately, as if it were an automated action. At exactly 8:30 pm, the three woke up and returned to the school.
During this time, Ordo Highschool had transformed. Although it looked the same on the outside, some parts of its inner structure had undergone a 180-degree change.
"Nora, Sian, and Zoe, to the principal's office," the school announcer echoed through the school building as they entered.
"What is it now?" Zoe grumbled, but the three of them proceeded to the principal's office. Unlike during the daytime when Mr. Felix was principal, at night, Mrs. Olivia took charge.
When they arrived at the principal's office, the door opened automatically, and they walked in.
"Good day, Mrs. Olivia," they greeted in unison.
"Sit down," Mrs. Olivia said, not bothering to return the greeting. The three girls sat down while Mrs. Olivia went to her bookshelf and retrieved a book. Her face looked deeply saddened, which worried the girls immensely. Mrs. Olivia sat behind her desk and opened the book.
"Any problem, Mrs. Olivia?" Sian asked, concerned.
"Yes, child, and that's why you three are here," Mrs. Olivia sighed. "The Trips are at it again, starting another fight, and this time they aim to get the green book. After much consideration, you three have been chosen to go on a journey to obtain the green book before the Trips."
"Um, Mrs. Olivia? Where exactly are we going to find the green book?" Nora asked.
"And why were we chosen for this task?" Zoe inquired, a perplexed expression on her face.
"For the first question, only a few know, and those few are unknown to us," Mrs. Olivia replied.
"As for the second question, you'll find out as you continue your journey," she continued after a brief pause. She opened her drawer and handed each of them a pendant.
"Here, take this. It will assist you on your journey," Mrs. Olivia added.
"Okay, so we are supposed to find a green book we've only heard about in stories, and we don't have a map, only these pendants. This sounds like something out of a novel," Nora remarked.
Mrs. Olivia chuckled and then continued in a more serious tone, "You must hurry; you are our only hope. During the journey, you will discover your individual powers, and you must use them wisely."
The three girls then put on the pendants.
"Well, at least this is better than the quanta nonsense you were talking about this morning," Sian remarked.
"But Quanta has more logic than what's going on right now," Nora retorted.
"Your entire existence alone is illogical, and you're talking about logic?" Sian scoffed.
"When shall we leave?" Zoe asked feeling unbothered by her two bickering friends.
"You have limited time; you must leave now. Tiana is waiting at the gate; he will open the portal for you to start your journey to the spiritual realm," Mrs. Olivia said.
"Go now and stay safe," she continued.
The three girls left the office to meet Tiana, who had opened the portal and was waiting for them.
