Kathleen, affectionately known as Kathi, is the nerd par excellence. In her world, everything revolves around computers, games and codes. But her knowledge does little to help her find her way around a strange city and her new pack, Silverclaw. The reason for her move? Her mother has found her new mate in this pack. Kathi has no choice but to move with her. Kathi feels obliged to dress up for the birthday of the supreme alpha and to comply with her mother's insistent wish to participate more in the life of the pack. At the lavish party, her paths cross with Damian, the aloof alpha. Damian is not only older than her, but also a mysterious and powerful man. She is attracted to him, but she can't explain why, everyone has always described meeting her companions so differently. But Damian knows it, they are companions. He has been searching for his true mate for an eternity, and finally he has found her, in Kathi. Will she give in to the inescapable pull of the Supreme, or will she continue to suppress her wolf, especially now that she has a great opportunity to turn her passion into a career?
Initially, when the shapeshifters, witches and vampires appeared a good three decades ago, there was horror and fear in the world. But people quickly came to terms with the novelties, what else could people do? They signed peace treaties, somehow all managed to live together as if it had always been so.
