"There are six stories in this collection and I am not going to tell you what happens in any of them. Partly because I don't want to spoil anything and mostly because if you're anything like me, you're not exactly here for the plot summaries. So this review is entirely about the other stuff. The first story uses character name callouts as perspective headers, shifting POV mid-scene with a confidence that keeps you perfectly oriented even when things get... complicated. It's something JeordieDravenX80 does across her other books too and honestly it's one of the reasons I keep coming back. It's different, it's clean, and in scenes with multiple moving parts it does real work without you even noticing it's doing it. Speaking of multiple moving parts. The logistics. Six stories, multiple partners, every scene meticulously choreographed. Every part is accounted for at all times. Who is where, doing what, to whom, in what order. I want to be very clear that this is genuinely difficult to execute. In real life AND in writing. JeordieDravenX80 makes it look completely effortless and I promise you it is not. The heat is here. The steam is here. The wet parts are very much here. All six stories deliver exactly what they promise and then a little more. Go read this. Immediately. Somewhere private.
