Run…run..run! That’s all my body is doing at the moment. I’ve been running in this damn school for what feels like hours. Running from what you say? I have no clue

Every turn, every stop , I see nothing but dark crimson blood, gore and bloody corpses everywhere. Heads decapitated from body’s…limbs scattered along the hallways. Shit. I’m outta breath…but I can’t stop..I must find the exit…I've lost too much to give up now! After about 3 minutes , I stopped to catch my breath. I looked around for any sign of anyone , suddenly a light lit up from a classroom… I weighed my options.

I could stay out here and die.

I could go in the classroom and potentially die

Honestly it’s a 50/50 situation. Of course I chose the second option and walked inside silently, closing and locking the door behind me.

I looked at the disoriented classroom and sighed in relief.

‘There’s no one here’ I thought as I slid down onto the floor to calm my racing heart.

Who am i? That’s not really important right now. What’s important is getting out of this shithole and making it out al-fuckin-live. All you need to know is that my name is Kenshiro Hiroko, I’m 17 years old. Nice introduction , is it not? There’s not much about me, only that I have a part-time job and a younger brother…

That’s it… I hear it.. The growling beast.. Lurking in the slim hallways..crunching on left-over

Bodies..crushing bones with each horrifying step. I held my breath praying it would walk past the room I was in , once it did i slowly stood up and backed away from the door. But to my luck I hit my toe on the teacher’s desk.

” fuck!” I yelled in pain as I quickly covered my mouth and rushed under the teacher’s desk.

<crash!>

The small glass rectangle on the door broke as the door slowly creaked open. Heavy feet hit the floor, with a blood trail leading behind.

Good job ya fuckin idiot! Your dumbass just led a fucking man-eating monster to yourself!

How FUCKIN STUPID do you feel now? I mentally scolded myself and stayed as still as my body would let me as the monster carelessly walked in the middle of the room. It started to sniff the area before looking in my direction and walking over towards me. I shook in terror.

‘Well Kenshi it was good while it lasted’ I sighed, preparing for my death as a blood curdling scream was heard down the hallway. The monster stopped walking towards me and ran out towards the noise.

I thank whatever gods were above and booked it out before that ‘thing’ came back.

I quietly left the class and walked towards what I think was the cafeteria? Yeh! I rushed inside and went directly to the fridge to reveal snacks and water. I was so happy I almost cried. I scarfed down all the food and water like it was my last meal,( which it probably is-) and once I finished I sighed happily and sat down with my back against the fridge and a water bottle in hand. What else was I here for…..? Oh yeah! A weapon! I balanced myself on the counter and looked around for something useful. Eventually I found a crowbar. I silently celebrated to myself and sat back down and started thinking about my life choices.

<creak….>

Damn it! I forgot to lock the door! I took a deep breath and held my crowbar with both hands and crept towards the door.

The footsteps seem lighter than the first monster I encountered.

This monster… who could it be?

A friend?.. A teacher?.. A lighter monster? No matter.. Whatever it is, it’s going down! As the footsteps got lounder, I held my crowbar tighter, waiting for it.

I hit whatever came through the door as hard as I could. “Gah! Ow! The hell man?!?” a voice yelps in pain covering their head.

I looked down and….Tadashi?!

“Holy shit man! I thought you were a monster!” I said grabbing some napkins and giving it to him.

He stood up and wiped the rest of the blood off his head and glared at me. After a long painfully awkward silence, he suddenly smacked me upside my head . “The fuck man?! That the hell is wrong with you?! You could’ve killed me!” he yelled, still hitting me. “ Dude! Ow! I’m sorry! Dude?!

Like I said ’I thought you were a monster! , you just can’t expect me not to defend my-”WHATEVER! Whatever” he shouted interrupted me. “I was looking for anyone or at least the way outta this hell”. He sighed.

“ Have you come across anyone else or any monsters?” I asked him.

“ well…emiko…was too slow and she…died..” he looked down in shame before looking back at me.

“At least i found you, that’s a start

Just gotta keep up the paste and hopefully not run into any other monsters.” Tadashi shrugged and started walking out the door.

Tadashi pov

Why him? Outta everyone alive in here, i had to get stuck with him?!

Anyway- we walked outside the cafeteria into the hallway.

“ It’s dark out here,” I said.

“ no shit Sherlock , the lights are busted!?” Kenshiro replied. I glared in his direction.” don’t get smart with me Kenshi !” I yelled.

“then stop asking obvious questions Tashi ”. He said, rolling his eyes. I scoffed , “just make sure you use that crowbar correctly”. I huffed.

“ I hit YOU with it, didn’t i? I must’ve used it correctly, “ he laughed. I punched him on the top of his head. “ Shut up..” I muttered.

“ It stinks in here,” Kenshi complains. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. “ well no fuckin shit dumbass!? Were in a hallway full of dead fuckin bodies?! Whaddya expect it to smell like? Roses?

Cupcake’s ? perfume?” . I sighed angrily.

As we continue to walk that dumbass continues to run his mouth like there’s no end.

I tuned out most of the stuff he was saying until I felt a hand on my back and landed on the floor.

“ DiD YOU NOT LISTEN?! I told you to watch out! you idiot!?” Kenshiro yells while swinging his crowbar at the figure in front of him.

I have no weapons and there’s no way in hell I’m fighting that thing with my fist. “ uh.. Not to be a bother or anything but HELP?!?” Kenshiro yells, hitting the beast in the face , plunging the crowbar in his chest . I looked around for something of use in this situation.

I saw a chair lying on the floor.

I scooted close to it and grabbed it , holding it up in the air ready to attack. but before i could i felt a strong gust of wind fly past me. I looked back to see Kenshi hitting the lockers with great force (strong enough to leave a dent) and falling down while groaning in pain. Damn that had to hurt.

Fuck it.

I threw the chair at the monster’s face and ran towards Kenshiro picking him up and booking it towards a random room locking the door behind. I gasped as my eyes widened. “ Is it that bad?” he asked in a worried tone. “ if you consider a large bruise covering most of your upper and lower back bad then.. I guess?” I shrugged. He starts complaining about how he needs a first aid kit, but I pay him no mind.

“ suck it up man. stop being such a baby and deal with it”. I scoffed as I looked around the room we were in. “ oh my… Kenshiro!? Bro! Dude!?! We’re in the principal’s office next to the teachers lounge!” I excitedly shook him.

“ Fuckin hell… this is heaven!

Look! Look! The intercom! We can tell any remaining survivors to get to the principal’s office! Then we can get help!” I exclaimed, walking over to the mic.

“ broski wait! What if the monste-″ those monsters are nothing but mindless things hunting for human flesh, they’re not smart bro…calm down” I interrupted him.

As the two boys glared at one another, Tadashi slowly makes his way to the mic on the desk. “Tashi..no!” Kenshiro warns but it was too late. Tashi already hit the red button and started talking.

“ Attention remaining survivors!

If you wish to continue life, I suggest making your way to the principal’s office. Tashi out-”.

He finished before turning to kenshiro. “See? Now How hard was that..hm?” Tadashi smugly says while walking toward Kenshiro helping him on one of the mini couches.” i swear if we die, I’m haunting you in the afterlife”.

The smaller male glared. Tashi chuckles.” we’ll see bout that” he said, flopping on the extended mini couch.

An hour of boredom falls upon the two boy’s. They’ve already read all the magazines and books the office had to offer.

(switching from a no pov to a kenshiro pov).

Another hour passed before a loud ‘bang’ was heard on the door.

I looked over to Tashi as he nodded and grabbed the crowbar.

“TADASHI SHRINOMI!? Open this goddamn door this instant!?”a loud feminine voice yells from the other side of the door. I looked over to Tashi to see an annoyed expression on his face.”OPEN THE FUCKIN DOOR SHRINMOI!? I know you’re in there! I heard ya fuckin voice on the intercom idiot!” she yelled bang harder on the door. He sighs heavily and walks over to the door, opening it. “ ugh?! Finally! Why the hell did it take you so long!?” she yelled pushing him out the way and sassy-walked towards the extended mini couch sitting down and crossing her arms. I’m guessing she hasn’t noticed me yet because she starts talking again. “Hoping i died, didn’t ya?”. She smirked. “ yes. Very much so”. Tashi scoffed. She faked, gasped and put on an offended face. “ How dare you! I am your girlfriend!? i deserv-”ex.” he interrupted her, “You’re my ex girlfriend. Has been for two whole months now. And will forever be my ex. Get over it.” he said sitting on a chair. They started bickering for a good 15 minutes before I got annoyed.

“God shut up?! If you two wanna fight and argue, do it after we survive whatever this is!” I semi-yelled as the girl looked at me and suddenly her mood changed. “ hiya! I’m Izumi takahashi! And you are? “ she beamed, holding her hand out to me. I awkwardly smiled and shook her hand. “ Kenshiro Hiroko nice to meet you i guess?” I said quickly, disconnecting my hand from her’s. “ stop actin like a bitchy spoiled princess that changes her attitude when their father walks in”. Tashi said, rolling his eyes.

She pouts and starts trying to talk to me again. “ so how long have you known Shrinmoi for?” she asked. “ Does that really matter right now? What matters is finding more survivors!”. I am trying to change the subject.

She stays quiet for a bit before speaking again.” well..over an hour ago i heard about a helicopter passing through schools looking for any survivors”. She sighed

We both looked at her with pure hatred in our eyes and I pushed her.

“ what the fuck!? We’ve been here for about 20-30 minutes and you’re now telling us this?! Are you TRYING to die here?!” I yelled.

There’s still hope in the world! We must head to the rooftops!” I exclaimed. “Right behind ya dude, anyplace is better than staying here with HER

so..oNwArD KeNsHiRo! “ Tashi playfully said as we both marched outta the office.

“Ya think she’s gonna follow us?” I asked. “ yup pretty sure.. She doesn’t like being alone. Especially in these circumstances.”

He chuckled and began counting down.

“4…..”still nothing

“3…..”faint footsteps can be heard

“2….”footsteps get louder

“1…..”a feminine voice yells behind us.

Tashi gave me the ‘i told you so’ look with the smuggest smirk on his face as ‘izumi’ started complaining about how we left her to die.

“Dude shut her up?! She’s gonna attract those monsters toward us!” I said glaring at them. He gives me a crooked smile and shoos her away. She huffs but stays quiet. Finally! I can hear myself think for once! Now to think of a plan to reach the roof without dying… “ tadashi?! Why wont you love me!? We can be that one couple that always dies in horror movies!” she exclaimed with excitement. He stared at her in shock before scoffing.”Ha! That’s funny! How about You being that one dumbass chick that dies first in every movie? Or…. we could sacrifice you? Your choice”. He shrugged. She looked at him before scoffing. 8 minutes of silence went by before Tashi said something. “Does anyone know where the rooftop is?” he nervously chuckled. “ really? Youve been at this school for 3 fucking years tadashi! How the hell don’t you know where the damn rooftop is?!”. She yelled, hitting him on his back.

“ yo! Chill! It’s not like the rooftops were interesting or anything! I just never found the time to go up there”. He mumbled. I sighed. “ alright follow me you clueless fucker” i joked walking faster before he could get me.

Izumi pov

That little brat ‘kenshiro’!? He’s the reason my sweet sweet tadashi won’t love me! Taking all his attention! I’ll make sure he doesn’t make it out alive..

That way we can finally be together~! “ ughhhh it’s so hot in here!” I complained. “ Stop talking then, maybe it’ll get cooler” Tashi snickered. I sighed, why did he get so sarcastic? It’s annoying. “So...I was wondering...how did you two Break up?“. Kenshiro asked, walking backwards.

“Simple. She cheats, we’re over”. Tadashi simply shrugged. “With who?“Kenshiro said. “Well wouldn’t you like to know.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “Just curious, I mean I didn’t even know he had a girlfriend in the first place anyway.” He turned around picking at the dead rotting bodies as we walked. We walked a bit more before we heard a low growl from behind us. “Damnit! Everyone get ready to attack!” Kenshiro whispers-yelled.

“With what? The air? Dude you’re the only one that’s armed here. And I’m pretty sure miss daddy’s girl over her ain’t got shit neither”. Tashi frowned. “Whatever! Just stay behind me and keep quiet..it looks like it’s eating so we best not disturb it..“. He said as we walked quietly away from the beast.

Then we all book it before that thing could see us. We manage to find yet another disoriented classroom with a few blood stains but it still smells like a decomposing body-

Sitting on the teachers desk. “So... what now?” Shrinomi asked, walking around. “What do you mean ‘what now’? We’re gonna get to that rooftop one way or another, best believe it”. Kenshiro said, looking around for something. “Honestly we’re only alive from pure luck, I mean come on we almost died twice or maybe three times but we found at least 3-4 classrooms and a weapon to help\defend us, but other than that we should be dead”. Tadashi randomly says. “Damn tadashi..I didn’t know you doubted us THAT bad, just be thankful luck is on our side!” Kenshiro huffed, crossing his arms .

“Yeh i agree with the smartass over here, you’re not gonna jinx our luck shrinomi, so stop spitting stupid bullshit and be happy we’re alive!” I scolded. He rolls his eyes and walks towards the window looking out of it

“Uhh..guys..? You might wanna check this out...“. We both look at each other before walking towards him and the window. Looking outside to see it in shambles. There were monsters everywhere.. smoke,fire, soon-to-be abandoned buildings and much more worse things. “We....we have to get out of here...” Kenshiro muttered. ” Ya think!? We still need to get to the rooftops! And this bonehead is slowing us down!” Shrinomi said, pointing towards me. I gasped offendedly. ” It was one time! I didn’t know I was gonna step on a bone! It’s not my fault this is happening! ″ Yeh but it IS your fault we’re still here. You could’ve told us the moment you banged on the door that there was a helicopter nearby!?” Kenshiro . augured. “Whatever, let’s just get there and get the hell out, that’s our one and only goal right now! Stop this bickering, izumi just shut up and don’t make any more noise and Kenshiro you too!” shrinomi scoffed in annoyance as he sat on the desk. Kenshrio continued looking out the window and muttered something. I started walking towards him before we heard growling coming from outside. We all stopped in our tracks staring directly at the door before someone..or something started banning on the door with a lot of force. Immediately we all grabbed something and hid so we won’t be in the monster’s view.

As the door swung open surprisingly..it wasn’t a monster. It was another survivor! He slammed the door panting hard and leaned his back against the door sliding down. “Mitsuaki..?” Shrinomi said in a quiet voice, staring at him. The boy looked up as his once sadden face turned into one of relief and happiness. “Baby! Holy fuck your alive!” he gets up running to him hugging him tightly before kissing him.

“Tashi..my sweet love..im so fucking happy your alright! I was trying to find you when we got split up!” I said in an upbeat tone kissing him all over his face. Of course he doesn’t like pda but i couldn’t care less right now!

I stopped and looked down at him as his hides his blushing face into my chest. “Mitsuuu! Not here- kenshi ns izumi are-“”You have a boyfriend?!” Another boy said in shock. “Why didn’t you-’ “ I was gonna tell you eventually!” Tashi interrupted him. “Shrinomi?! Already? It hasn’t even been 6 months after us?!” the girl yelled as both her and the other boy started going off on him. “SHUT THE FUck UP?!’ Tashi yells glaring at the both of them. “I dont fucking care that we’re childhood friends!! I didnt wanna tell anyone so i didnt! Why would it matter anyway? We haven’t spoken much since your father’s death!?!” Tashi yells even more looking at him, the boy looked like he was gonna say something but Tashi continued to talk. “And you!” he turns over to the girl. “You cheated on me on MULTIPLE FUCKINg OCCasioNS?!

You’re gravely mistaken, you spoiled bitch.” Then he looks at me, “Mitsuaki watanabe meet my childhood friend Kenshiro Hiroko then my ex Izumi Takahashi..There! Intros out of the fucking way!” tashi said before wrapping his arms around my waist nuzzling into my chest mumbling curses as I patted his head. “Uh..i guess it’s nice to meet you both..-” i said awkwardly as Kenshiro just nodded and walked to a desk looking at his weapon as izumi scoffed while walking towards the window. awkward silence fell upon us as I tried starting a conversation. “So…where were you three headed?” I asked, still holding Tashi in my arms. “The rooftop, in case a helicopter passes by looking for survivors or somethin..what about you? You sure seemed out of breath when ya got here” Kenshiro answered looking up at me. “Oh- that, well i was looking for tashi since we got split up when this first started, but then i was unlucky and ran into a few of them, tackled some and tried fighting it with my bare hands..- that of course didn’t work and just then two of them were chasing me as i happened to finally find an unlocked door and ran inside..but you do understand that we have to take the stairs and that’s gonna take a while since we’re on the first floor?”

The boy nods and sighs “yup..might as well get this journey over with but then again it’s getting late and we need to crash somewhere and get some rest.” I nodded “understandable..well i’ll help keep this angry little one at bay..and i think the girl dont like me…” i said as he rolled his eyes. “ That’s izumi for ya, she hardly likes anyone..or anything-” I slightly chuckled while playing with tashi’s hair. “So…how long have y’all been a thing?” Kenshiro asked, looking at the both of us. “Well….about 3 months after him and that girl, we would hang out more after the games and stuff..he’s actually..a really nice partner, don’t know why she would cheat on someone like him. He’s pretty sw-”. I stopped myself before I started ranting on and on about him. It happens too much and tashi doesn’t like that.. Silence fell upon us all as I realized tashi fell asleep so she got comfortable on the floor and wrapped my jacket around us. The girl had already fallen asleep in the beanbag chair by the reading area and Kenshiro was just looking out the window into the night sky. “..are you gonna get some rest kenshiro?” I asked, looking up at him. “Well…someone needs to keep watch and I don’t fall asleep easily.” he answered, still looking out the window. “You sure….? it could be a short or quick little nap as well- ″ but once again he shook his head no. I sighed as I leaned more into tashi falling asleep.

He chuckled and began counting down.

“1…..”a feminine voice yells behind us.

Tashi gave me the ‘i told you so’ look with the smuggest smirk on his face as ‘izumi’ started complaining about how we left her to die.

“Dude shut her up?! She’s gonna attract those monsters toward us!” I said glaring at them. He gives me a crooked smile and shoos her away. She huffs but stays quiet. Finally! I can hear myself think for once! Now to think of a plan to reach the roof without dying… “ tadashi?! Why wont you love me!? We can be that one couple that always dies in horror movies!” she exclaimed with excitement. He stared at her in shock before scoffing.”Ha! That’s funny! How about You being that one dumbass chick that dies first in every movie? Or…. we could sacrifice you? Your choice”. He shrugged. She looked at him before scoffing. 8 minutes of silence went by before Tashi said something. “Does anyone know where the rooftop is?” he nervously chuckled. “ really? Youve been at this school for 3 fucking years tadashi! How the hell don’t you know where the damn rooftop is?!”. She yelled, hitting him on his back.

“ yo! Chill! It’s not like the rooftops were interesting or anything! I just never found the time to go up there”. He mumbled. I sighed. “ alright follow me you clueless fucker” i joked walking faster before he could get me.

Izumi pov

That little brat ‘kenshiro’!? He’s the reason my sweet sweet tadashi won’t love me! Taking all his attention! I’ll make sure he doesn’t make it out alive..

That way we can finally be together~! “ ughhhh it’s so hot in here!” I complained. “ Stop talking then, maybe it’ll get cooler” Tashi snickered. I sighed, why did he get so sarcastic? It’s annoying. “So...I was wondering...how did you two Break up?“. Kenshiro asked, walking backwards.

Tadashi simply shrugged. “With who?“Kenshiro said. “Well wouldn’t you like to know.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “Just curious, I mean I didn’t even know he had a girlfriend in the first place anyway.” He turned around picking at the dead rotting bodies as we walked. We walked a bit more before we heard a low growl from behind us. “Damnit! Everyone get ready to attack!” Kenshiro whispers-yelled.

“With what? The air? Dude you’re the only one that’s armed here. And I’m pretty sure miss daddy’s girl over her ain’t got shit neither”. Tashi frowned. “Whatever! Just stay behind me and keep quiet..it looks like it’s eating so we best not disturb it..“. He said as we walked quietly away from the beast.

I just stepped on a bone.. Damnit... isn’t that just..swell? I mentally smacked myself as both boys looked at me. Then the monster.

Then we all book it before that thing could see us. We manage to find yet another disoriented classroom with a few blood stains but it still smells like a decomposing body-

“What the hell izumi!? We could’ve got attacked by that thing because of you!?” Tadashi yells.

“Oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize I was gonna step in a fuckin bone shrinomi”. I scoffed

Sitting on the teachers desk. “So... what now?” Shrinomi asked, walking around. “What do you mean ‘what now’? We’re gonna get to that rooftop one way or another, best believe it”. Kenshiro said, looking around for something. “Honestly we’re only alive from pure luck, I mean come on we almost died twice or maybe three times but we found at least 3-4 classrooms and a weapon to help\defend us, but other than that we should be dead”. Tadashi randomly says. “Damn tadashi..I didn’t know you doubted us THAT bad, just be thankful luck is on our side!” Kenshiro huffed, crossing his arms .

“Yeh i agree with the smartass over here, you’re not gonna jinx our luck shrinomi, so stop spitting stupid bullshit and be happy we’re alive!” I scolded. He rolls his eyes and walks towards the window looking out of it

“Uhh..guys..? You might wanna check this out...“. We both look at each other before walking towards him and the window. Looking outside to see it in shambles. There were monsters everywhere.. smoke,fire, soon-to-be abandoned buildings and much more worse things. “We....we have to get out of here...” Kenshiro muttered. ” Ya think!? We still need to get to the rooftops! And this bonehead is slowing us down!” Shrinomi said, pointing towards me. I gasped offendedly. ” It was one time! I didn’t know I was gonna step on a bone! It’s not my fault this is happening! ″ Yeh but it IS your fault we’re still here. You could’ve told us the moment you banged on the door that there was a helicopter nearby!?” Kenshiro . augured. “Whatever, let’s just get there and get the hell out, that’s our one and only goal right now! Stop this bickering, izumi just shut up and don’t make any more noise and Kenshiro you too!” shrinomi scoffed in annoyance as he sat on the desk. Kenshrio continued looking out the window and muttered something. I started walking towards him before we heard growling coming from outside. We all stopped in our tracks staring directly at the door before someone..or something started banning on the door with a lot of force. Immediately we all grabbed something and hid so we won’t be in the monster’s view.

As the door swung open surprisingly..it wasn’t a monster. It was another survivor! He slammed the door panting hard and leaned his back against the door sliding down. “Mitsuaki..?” Shrinomi said in a quiet voice, staring at him. The boy looked up as his once sadden face turned into one of relief and happiness. “Baby! Holy fuck your alive!” he gets up running to him hugging him tightly before kissing him.

“Tashi..my sweet love..im so fucking happy your alright! I was trying to find you when we got split up!” I said in an upbeat tone kissing him all over his face. Of course he doesn’t like pda but i couldn’t care less right now!

I stopped and looked down at him as his hides his blushing face into my chest. “Mitsuuu! Not here- kenshi ns izumi are-“”You have a boyfriend?!” Another boy said in shock. “Why didn’t you-’ “ I was gonna tell you eventually!” Tashi interrupted him. “Shrinomi?! Already? It hasn’t even been 6 months after us?!” the girl yelled as both her and the other boy started going off on him. “SHUT THE FUck UP?!’ Tashi yells glaring at the both of them. “I dont fucking care that we’re childhood friends!! I didnt wanna tell anyone so i didnt! Why would it matter anyway? We haven’t spoken much since your father’s death!?!” Tashi yells even more looking at him, the boy looked like he was gonna say something but Tashi continued to talk. “And you!” he turns over to the girl. “You cheated on me on MULTIPLE FUCKING OCCASIONS?!

So don’t go pointing the finger at me! WERE FUCKING DONE! End of story! You fucked up more than once and you expected me to stay with a bitch like you? You’re gravely mistaken, you spoiled bitch.” Then he looks at me, “Mitsuaki watanabe meet my childhood friend Kenshiro Hiroko then my ex Izumi Takahashi..There! Intros out of the fucking way!” tashi said before wrapping his arms around my waist nuzzling into my chest mumbling curses as I patted his head. “Uh..i guess it’s nice to meet you both..-” i said awkwardly as Kenshiro just nodded and walked to a desk looking at his weapon as izumi scoffed while walking towards the window. awkward silence fell upon us as I tried starting a conversation. “So…where were you three headed?” I asked, still holding Tashi in my arms. “The rooftop, in case a helicopter passes by looking for survivors or somethin..what about you? You sure seemed out of breath when ya got here” Kenshiro answered looking up at me. “Oh- that, well i was looking for tashi since we got split up when this first started, but then i was unlucky and ran into a few of them, tackled some and tried fighting it with my bare hands..- that of course didn’t work and just then two of them were chasing me as i happened to finally find an unlocked door and ran inside..but you do understand that we have to take the stairs and that’s gonna take a while since we’re on the first floor?”

The boy nods and sighs “yup..might as well get this journey over with but then again it’s getting late and we need to crash somewhere and get some rest.” I nodded “understandable..well i’ll help keep this angry little one at bay..and i think the girl dont like me…” i said as he rolled his eyes. “ That’s izumi for ya, she hardly likes anyone..or anything-” I slightly chuckled while playing with tashi’s hair. “So…how long have y’all been a thing?” Kenshiro asked, looking at the both of us. “Well….about 3 months after him and that girl, we would hang out more after the games and stuff..he’s actually..a really nice partner, don’t know why she would cheat on someone like him. He’s pretty sw-”. I stopped myself before I started ranting on and on about him. It happens too much and tashi doesn’t like that.. Silence fell upon us all as I realized tashi fell asleep so she got comfortable on the floor and wrapped my jacket around us. The girl had already fallen asleep in the beanbag chair by the reading area and Kenshiro was just looking out the window into the night sky. “..are you gonna get some rest kenshiro?” I asked, looking up at him. “Well…someone needs to keep watch and I don’t fall asleep easily.” he answered, still looking out the window. “You sure….? it could be a short or quick little nap as well- ″ but once again he shook his head no. I sighed as I leaned more into tashi falling asleep.
