Story

Every person has some dreams in his or her life and he or she tries best to achieve all those things in their life. I am a career oriented girl like many other girls and I’m working hard to achieve them. One day, a very weird thing happened to me. For the purpose of education, I lived in a hostel in the calm city of Renela, close to my university. I decided to go home one evening, filled with excitement to see my family after a long hostel stay. I spent the whole night anticipating my family. I left the hostel early in the morning because my home was five hours away from my hostel. I took Riksha and reached near the bus bypass, then an old man offered who was perhaps the manager of the bypass who helped everyone to find their bus. I have been seeing him on that same bypass for the last two years. 'Yes' for two years. He came to me and asked, "Where do you want to go, Beta?" I told him, as I always said to him, that it depends on the bus that arrives early. If the bus that belongs to Chistian arrives early, I’ll take that bus, but if the bus belongs to a bahawalnagar arrives early, I’ll take that. I was basically from another city but it turned out there was no direct bus. I had to change buses. That’s why I always take the bus to other cities. Half an hour later, I took a bus that was going to Chistian. My grandparents lived in Bahawalnagar and mostly I went to their home before going to my own. As I sat on the bus, I didn’t realize this detour would lead to unexpected adventures and discoveries. But this time I made a mistake. I paid for my hometown. I decided to go to my hometown, but later I was extremely exhausted and anticipation filled the air as I headed to my grandparents' hometown. The dusty roads promised warm reunions and cherished memories. I chose to get off at my grandparents' city on the way home, which would make the journey shorter. Approaching Bahawalnagar, I asked the conductor if I could get off there. He agreed, ready to adjust my fare. But when I reached my grandparents' city, I asked for my remaining money and luggage. I was astonished by the conductor’s attitude and I was speechless just after hearing his words. that the man I thought was the conductor was actually the bypass manager. He managed operations and helped passengers find their correct bus. He claimed that the man that was on the bypass had told him to take me to Chistian. How can I believe that this is your grandparents' hometown? Most girls do this. They take the bus to go somewhere else and go somewhere else. You will go, but if someone asked me where you went, what would I say to them? I was stunned and tried to reason with him, suggesting he could contact my family to confirm. But he refused to listen. I was stuck in a confusing situation which literally made me sad and remained in my mind for so many days. I skipped the idea of going to visit my grandparents and going home. But I will never forget his attitude and his words. I am still not able to express how I felt and what he said properly, but the thought he was considering myself in those girls who run from their houses made me hate him more. Just because of saving some money, he started assassinating my character even though he knew that men had no belongings with me. He is the manager of the bypass. This happened to me two years ago, but it is still in my memory. It literally made me consider how her mother brought him up.
