Chapter 1

"Princess Stephanie? Princess Stephanie, where are you dear?."

"Oh no Madam Shelby would not be happy with me when I tell her I lost the young princess again."

says the royal nanny.

* kids chuckle*

"Steph don't make a noise. The nanny might catch us." says Prince Astro while putting a finger to his lips.

"I got a plan. Just follow me."

I nod my head and follow Astro.

We make our way through the castle that I call home. From our balconies we can see our neighboring castle. Princess Astro resides over there.

"Take my hand Steph." says Astro as he stands firmly on the natural tree branch ladder.

As I take hold of Astro's hand, Jasper my guardian and also my best friend which is a cat.He has special abilities. Teleportion but as all powers in our world has limitations so does his. After 9 uses he needs to nap for a week.

Before I can say goodbye to Princess Astro. I find myself once again in my bedroom with Jasper and my mother the Queen of western realms of magic.

"Stephanie I told you to not leave your quarters until you have finished your lessons. Where did you disappear off to now again?" she looks at me as she asks.

I look over to Jasper wondering if he will be a loyal servant to me today.

Jasper gives a " you owe me one look" and I proceed to ask my mother.

"Sorry mother I will not do it again." I say will a trained head bow

"Good dear-" she says as she takes hold of my shoulder

"Your majesty, my queen. There is an emergency meeting at the main hall. The king has called for your presence." one of our generals say as he stands with urgency at the door.

"Okay, we shall continue this later my dear." my mother says as she leaves in a hurry.
