America isn’t uneducated; it’s worse than that. It is miseducated which is a nice way of saying it is effectively brainwashed. I not only had to work hard for my education I had to do it myself. I’m not bragging, this is very sad. We live in a mass-delusional society that has so embraced it’s delusions it refuses to let go of them. Why do people call the indigenous people of this continent “Indians?” There are Indian immigrants here but they have no traceable genetic link. This is the result of mass brainwashing that started with a huge mistake. Columbus really thought he landed in India. I believe he realized before he died that he’s landed in on a much different land mass than he had originally intended. He’d already kidnapped some of the Carib natives and paraded them around as “Indians” and sold them off as slaves. European arrogance carries-over to this day. They not only are not going to admit they made a mistake they changed the rules to say; these people are “Indians” and we will make sure no-one including the indigenous peoples question it.
It’s deeper. Arlo Guthrie wrote a musical story called “Alice’s Restaurant” which is subtitled “The Thanksgiving Day Massacre.” This is irony at it’s finest. The first so-called “Thanksgiving” was the result of a famine among the settlers. They were called “Pilgrims” because they came to escape religious and politico persecution. The land was far different than the land they were accustomed. In an act of compassion the Natives came to help. They shared their food and taught the new settlers how to farm the lands and to domesticate the native animals. This went on for about fifty years and then the settlers decided to teach “Christianity” to the Natives. To this the Natives declared: “Our God is the God of our Ancestors.” The settlers were furious. They all but wiped out the local Tribes. James Fenimore Cooper accounted this in “The Last of the Mohicans.” He referred to the Mohicans as a “wise and noble race.” Yes there is a history of genocide and slavery in this country that started before there was a U.S.

The most unheard of mass execution was ordered by Abraham Lincoln. We do not like to hear of these things and if we can we deny them. History was rewritten to pacify future generations. Things we were taught to believe are often times an a par with fairy-tales and outright lies. I would guess that 85 % of the population of U.S. citizens believe they live in a “Democracy.” This is the most effective lie imposed on them. The original system composed by the so-called “Founding Fathers” was deemed “a Democratic Republic.” Which was referred among other things “a Mockery of Democracy;” which it was. http://www.americantraditions.org/A... Since then it has deteriorated to an even more oppressive form of Governance known as “Fascism.” The U.S. has been moving towards Fascism since after WW II which became prominent with the introduction of The USA PATRIOT ACT by George W. And most people still believe they live in a “Democracy.” And if they summon their courage enough to actually read this article they will be sorely angry,
