Chapter 1
I got invited to the party? I mean I guess I’ll go. I’ve never really gone to a party before… Walking out the school doors, I began walking the sidewalk, with my bestfriend, Brick.
“Were you invited to the party as well?” He asked me. I don’t really know why, Brick was never really up for this stuff.
“Yeah.”
“Well… Are you going?” He questioned.
“Well duh! Are you?”
“A soldier doesn’t have time for parties! …But….”
“Your going, arent you.”
“Yes.”
“Well… This is my house. See ya at the party.”
Brick saluted, Then he walked off.
[FIVE HOURS LATER]
I step out of the car, and walk in the door. Fuck. Not that fucker… It’s Lightning. I see him in the crowd.
“Hey! Come on in Scott!” Mike shouted from behind Zoey. I walk in, acting like nothing was wrong. Then, I heard a voice, from the back of the room.
“Come on guys! Were playing truth or dare!” Anne Maria called out from the back of the room. Everybody went rushing over.
“Ok, Now lets get this started!” Dakota said, excitedly. “I’ll go first.”
