The Morning Of My Special Day
I woke up this morning feeling very happy. Today was my 23rd birthday! I jumped out of bed and got in the shower. After my shower, I ran back to my room to get dressed. When I was putting on my pants I heard someone groan. “Why the hell are you making so much noise?” She said opening her eyes. I looked at her as she was getting up and said, “Abby did you forget my birthday is today? Also sorry for making so much noise.” I said while putting on my shoes. She rolled over and gasped, ” WAIT IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY?! SHIT!” She said while rolling off the bed and finding clothes. I stared at her and said, ” You really forgot your best friend’s birthday? Well, shit, you better get ready because we are about to have a giant party then we are going to the beach!” I watched her run to the bathroom while I giggled and looked at my phone. I put my hand over my mouth when I saw that my mom texted me. My mom texted me saying,″ Happy birthday darling! It’s been a long time since we have talked but I love you and I will see you soon!” Abby ran out of the bathroom and looked at me with confusion in her eyes. “Are you okay Luna?“, she said as I looked up startled. “Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just-” she cut me off before I could even finish, ” Oh my god bitch we are going to the mall before anything and getting you a new bikini!” I sighed while putting my phone in my pocket. ” Come on Luna! Today is going to be perfect!” Abby said while grabbing my wrist. “OKAY OKAY ABBY LET GO!” I said while giggling and running to the car. When we got in I turned on my favorite song. “Really Luna? You know I hate this song. It sounds like shit!” Said Abby. I looked at her with a mad face and said, ” EXCUSE ME?! I’M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!” She giggled and said,″ Girl I was joking now calm your ass down.” She put her hands on the wheel and started the car. We drove for 45 minutes before we got to the mall. When we pulled in Abby pulled out her phone and texted someone. I tried to see who she was texting but she tilted her phone to the side, “HEY! NO LOOKING!” I turned around and muffled, “Fine then. Be that way.” She turned around and gave me a big hug. She pulled away and looked at the mall door, “They’re here!″ she said with a smile on her face. I smiled and said, ″You didn’t!” I ran over to my best friend Dylan while Abby walked over to her girlfriend Bella. When we got to them I had a flashback. All four of us grew up together. I was 6, Abby and Dylan were 7, And Bella was 5. We met in 1st grade and we have been friends ever since. When Abby turned 14 she had to move to Florida which split up the group. After Abby moved we hung out for a couple more years until everyone had money and a car. We decided to move to Florida and find Abby. After we reunited we decided that me and Abby were gonna share a little house while Dylan and Bella had their own houses. After the flashback, I went back into reality and hugged Dylan, “Happy birthday Luna!” Dylan said as we were hugging. “Thank you!” I said. Abby and Bella went to each other hugged each other and kissed,” Hi Baby.” Bella said. “Hi, Darling!” Abby said smiling. After we all said hi to each other we went to the mall and got food,″ I’m starving!” I said while holding my stomach. “Damn girl you always hungry.” Dylan said while rolling his eyes. ” Well today is my special day and I want sushi!” I said as I ran to get in line. They all watched me as I ran. After we got food we decided that it would be a good idea if we got our bathing suits and drinks for later tonight. When we walked into the store Bella’s eyes lit up when we saw the bathing suits. “You thinking what I’m thinking?” I said as we looked at each other. “YES BITCH NOW LET’S GO!” Bella said grabbing my arm and running to the bikini section. Dylan and Abby went to the men’s section to find some shorts for later tonight. After 1 hour we were finished. When me and Bella were walking to pay she said,” Let’s surprise them with what we got!” I giggled, “I guess.” Then I frowned remembering I was the only single one in the group. Bella looked at me with a little frown,” Sorry. I forgot that you are single. It’s okay though because you have us!” She said while pulling me in for a hug. We all met up outside and said our goodbyes. When Dylan and Bella left Abby looked at me with a pissed-off expression. We got in the car and went home in silence. After about 10 minutes she finally said something, ” Sorry if I seemed pissed off. It’s just that they didn’t have the shorts I wanted. I’m just gonna go in my other shorts.″ I looked at her with a little frown, ″I’m sorry to hear but today is gonna be the best day of our lives bitch! Now let’s fuck shit up!” When we got home we got ready to go to the beach. I put on a little black bikini and got our drinks in my drinking bag. When we got to the beach I found out that it was a whole party for me. Everyone was waiting for me at the beach. Most of my friends were there and some family, but there was one person I didn’t know. I didn’t know that one person could change my life forever.
