The gem. Where is it? I can't see anything. It's so dark. Is it the end of the world???
BEEP BEEP!
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I looked around me and sighed.
“It’s just a nightmare, Emma,” I told myself.
I sighed and got up. I turned off my alarm and looked outside my window. The sun was shining brighter than ever. Cars were driving on the roads. The beautiful singing of birds was music to my ears. Today was Monday and such a busy day in New York! I was a normal girl but not that much. I have magic and so do the rest of the people. But we do have school! Oh time to get ready!
After I got ready, I went downstairs to eat pancakes. Amazing food! I noticed that I was about to be late. I grabbed my backpack and rushed to school. When I got there, my best friend was looking at me like something happened so I walked up to her. I wonder what's wrong with her…
