Rose has never really been away from home like this before. Traveling to exotic places with her two friends. Experiencing the world before settling down and finishing her studies and finding a job. It's kind of nice to live a little and see things most won't. Unfortunately Rose is about to see and learn more of the world than she ever realized. Humans have forgotten the gods of old, killed them even, and because of this so much has now been lost. Magic the world needs is dying. Rose is about to become the next sacrifice to a god of the forest. One who sees little hope in the world anymore and knows one day it will kill him. This dying world is killing him as are the people in it. These small sacrifices he must take only appease his appetite for a short while. Eden needs to decide to make a sacrifice of his own if he wants to survive. A sacrifice he might need to make in Rose, that is if he is willing to listen.
