Dressed for the Occasion
“Happy Halloween!”
After putting the finishing touches for the party, Claire grabbed the phone from her back pocket and smiled at the text that her best friend had just sent her. Taking a few seconds to respond, Claire lifted her head as she heard the first few guests pulling up onto her driveway.
Opening up her front doors, she smiled as more cars began parking on her side of the street. Claire then set out a large bowl of candy for trick-or-treaters to enjoy before hearing footsteps shuffling down the stairs. Hopping off the bottom step was Claire’s youngest child, Jesse. He was excited as he saw some of his friends arriving at their home.
Before she saw her son’s Halloween costume, Claire grabbed the remote and opened the Spotify app on her smart TV. Searching through a few playlists, she tapped on the greatest Halloween hits as she started talking to her son.
“So, are you excited for this evening?” Claire smiled.
“Oh Yeah!” cheered Jesse, “And later on, some of us are going to try to sneak over across the street to Kyle’s house and play some Fortnite.”
“Fortnite?” his mother asked as she turned her head. “Why can’t you hold off just one night and spend time wi- …uh Jesse? What are you wearing?”
Spreading his arms out to his sides, Jesse posed for his mother, showing off the costume that he borrowed from a friend. It was a character from the same video game that he planned on playing later that evening.
“Well, Kyle and I wanted our costumes to sorta match and I really like this one!” Jesse defended.
“But what about the costumes I got for our family?” Claire sighed. “We talked about this months ago. All of us were going to dress up as The Incredibles. You would look perfect as Dash!”
“But this is much cooler!” he complained. “Come on mom…Mindy isn’t wearing hers!”
“Wait! What do you mean she’s not wearing her costume?” Claire huffed. “I thought I told your sister that we were all going to wear matching outfits this year?”
“Well now she’s a slutty witch,” Jesse pouted.
“JESSE!”
“Well it’s true…” he mumbled before heading out of the house. “Just ask her for yourself.”
Rolling her eyes, Claire took a deep breath before hearing a crowd of people walking up to her front door. Upon inviting them in, she counted at least 16 people in costumes, most ranging from zombies and cheap celebrity knock-offs to whorish looking witches and sleazy magicians. It was no surprise as Claire’s oldest child, Mindy, was home from college during her fall break…and most of everyone here were her friends.
After greeting the guests, more cars continued to pull in. Exiting one of the vehicles was none other than Mindy wearing an inappropriate costume with holes scattered across her revealing outfit. Mindy’s best friend, Becky, hopped out with her who was also wearing something very similar. As Claire signaled her guests to help themselves with the food and drinks, she forced a smile on her face and stepped onto the front porch.
“You look…different,” Claire greeted, trying to suppress her displeasure.
“Hey Mom,” Mindy groaned. “So, I know you wanted to do the whole Incredibles thing…but can we do that another year? I look like a dork wearing that red suit.”
“Well, I thought you looked cute,” her mother praised.
“Are you mad?”
Watching her daughter slouch her shoulders, Claire stood there for a moment thinking of a response. Of course, she was upset that her two children bailed on her costume idea…but ultimately Claire just wanted everyone to have a good time.
“Nah…” she chuckled. “Your brother already jumped ship and is wearing something from Fortnite.”
“Ew, gross,” Mindy cringed.
“I thought the same thing,” her mother laughed. “Look, you two go have fun. I’m going upstairs to change. Just watch. Your father and I will rock those costumes and you are gonna wish you matched with us.”
“Sounds good Mom,” Mindy smirked, giving her mom a thumbs up.
Nodding to her friend, Mindy, and the other guests entered the house as the Halloween party was just beginning.
After squeezing through the rambunctious crowd, Claire finally made it to the stairway before she began marching up the steps. Upon walking onto the 2nd floor, Claire immediately embraced the silence as it was a perfect contrast to the party going on downstairs. She then glanced over at one of the rooms where her husband’s office was, watching him work at his desk. Clair then turned and continued walking down the hall towards their bedroom.
Quietly tip-toeing past the other rooms, Claire made her way toward the end of the hall and stealthily stepped inside her bedroom. The evening sky bled through her white curtains, filling the room with a warm orange light. Closing the door behind her, Claire kicked off her flats before walking toward her bed.
On the bed contained an open box full of red & black suits, black gloves, black boots, eye masks, and a few other accessories that she had originally planned for her family to wear. Fumbling through the costumes, Claire grabbed what she needed and set the outfit off to the side.
Glancing over at the photo on her nightstand, she smiled at the family portrait, reminiscing about the days when her two children were much younger. She missed those early years when her husband had more time outside of work and when her children actually looked up to her. After letting the nostalgia get to her, Claire soon brought her mind back to the present and gazed at the costume before her.
Reaching her hands towards the collar of her shirt, Claire slowly began unbuttoning it. She positioned herself in front of a full-body mirror as she started removing her clothes.
Upon grabbing her shirt with both hands, Claire pulled her arms back and revealed her large breasts that were nearly bursting out of her white lace bra. After tossing her shirt into the box, she then began removing her pants.
Kicking the jeans off of her ankles, Claire brought her hands to her chest and gently traced her curvy figure. With her eyes focusing on the mirror, she began to relish how well she looked for a mother in her early 40’s. After two kids, Claire rocked the mom bod pretty well.
After posing in the mirror, Claire walked over to the bed to grab her costume. While the design looked perfect, she couldn’t help but notice that it seemed one size smaller than what was labeled on the tag. Pulling the skin-tight outfit over her thick thighs, Claire stretched the costume past her tummy and held it firmly against her chest. Struggling to squeeze her massive breasts into it, she eventually stretched the bodysuit over her shoulders before finally pulling up the front zipper on her outfit.
Amazed that she managed to fit her figure inside such a tiny costume, Claire proceeded to put on the black rubber boots and gloves. After grabbing the black domino mask, the mom adjusted her hair and slid the mask over her head as she applied the finishing touches to her costume.
Carefully adjusting her attire, Claire posed in the mirror once more, admiring the red & black costume that flaunted all of her natural curves. The suit was a little tight on her, but she didn’t seem to mind. Turning her hips, she took a quick look at her round, plump ass as it was easily stretching out her costume.
Bringing her hands back up to her chest, Claire began to cup her large breasts, pushing them up in hopes of showing off to her husband. While it’s been a few months since she and her husband were intimate, Claire hoped that maybe a little role-play would spice things up.
After admiring her voluptuous figure in the mirror, Claire opened the door and leisurely walked down the hallway. The closer she got to her husband’s office, the more she could hear his pen scribbling on a pad of paper. Leaning against the opening of his office doorway, Claire placed one hand on her hip and waited for Charles to notice.
A minute went by and her husband’s eyes had not once lost focus on his work. From filling out forms to punching numbers into his calculator, Charles didn’t hear or see his wife entering his office. Walking slowly on the textured carpet, Claire snuck up behind her man and gently wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
“Hey, handsome…you ready to party?” she whispered, giving him an innocent peck on his cheek.
Pausing for a few seconds, Claire’s husband let out a deep sigh before he answered.
“Honey, I’m sorry. Work has been really busy lately and I got to get this done,” he grumbled.
“Charles sweetie, you have been at this all day,” Claire pleaded. “Just take a break and dress up with me.” she continued as she stepped back and posed for her husband.
“I’m sorry, Claire, but I really need to work on these reports. The board members will be flying into Philly tomorrow for our meeting next week,” he defended. “I can’t slack off now.”
Claire folded her arms and slouched her shoulders as she dealt with her husband’s stubbornness. She could see his face turning red with veins slowly protruding out of his bald head. Claire waited for a few seconds before she made one more attempt to convince her husband to join her downstairs for the party.
“What if it were only 30 minutes? Just hang out and have a few drinks with me while-”
“Honey, I said no!” he fumed, slamming his fists on his desk.
Charles’s office instantly became silent. Behind Claire’s black mask were watery red eyes, holding back the tears as she watched her husband begin filling his briefcase.
“Look. I’m sorry, Claire,” he groaned. “It’s just…I am very lucky to have gotten this big promotion and I don’t want to throw it away over a silly little party. You and I both know how difficult it is to find a job that pays really well in this economy.”
Gazing off at the wall consisting of Charles’s diplomas and trophies, Claire pursed her lips together and stood there while her husband packed his things. After standing up behind his desk, a notification went off on his phone.
Seeing the light from the screen reflect onto his face, Claire narrowed her eyes and focused her attention on Charle’s expression. While he had a stoic look on his face, Claire couldn’t help but notice the slight sparkle in his eyes. She wanted to know what the text was and who it was from…but Claire looked away, hoping that he wasn’t seeing someone else.
“I’m going to the office where it’s quiet,” Charles murmured. “I will be home late tonight.” he continued as he walked out of the room.
Standing there motionless and defeated, Claire attempted to suppress her emotions as she watched her husband through the window getting into his car, maneuvering around the other vehicles, and eventually driving off. Pulling out her phone, Claire began typing another message to her best friend as she slowly walked downstairs to join the party.
