A key piece of my romantic and sexual journey was a delayed puberty and going through most of high school as an undeveloped, short, ultra nerdy boy. In that era, a nerd faced universal social penalties, especially from girls.
However, playing in marching band and other music programs gave me a circle of friends, as well as an escape from gym classes, where sadistic jocks waited to prey on boys just like me.
Like most teenagers, masturbation made up the bulk of my sexual activities. That activity persisted in ridiculous amounts, even when girls eventually took interest in me. I had a fairly wild final semester, but because of the girls’ ages, I cannot write exactly what occurred during my senior year encounters.
