Prologue

I start my day with a warm cup of coffee, not just any coffee, but a salted caramel latte. My favorite.

While I drink my coffee, I admire the beautiful ocean waves, I bought a house on the beach because I love them so much. I love waves, or just ocean, water in general is a beautiful element.. I’m starting to think that I was meant to be a dolphin, or a whale, or any sea creature. I’m leaning towards the idea of me being a siren the most, some people say they aren’t real, but they are…I’ll prove it one day, by becoming one myself.

I’m very dedicated to my goal, I started bathing myself in ocean water so I could feel closer to my true form.

Today, I brought crystals to speed up the process, I laid them across the shore and got on my knees. I felt the waves crash against them, and I dug my hands into the sand. Seashells filled my palms as I curl up and sink into the water, I opened my eyes because I heard some kind of screeching. It was a baby, a baby floating in the ocean, alone. I panicked and swam as fast as I could to the babies rescue, it felt like it was floating away until I grabbed it.

The poor baby was sobbing and coughing up water, I knew that I had to take care of it to show mother nature that I’m capable of raising a child.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Andie Wri: Nice plot and chemistry between the main characters.Overall a great read with intrigue and things being revealed that is surprising. I like how vulnerable the main characters are. They still believe in love despite the heartaches they have experienced.

Sharda: I really enjoyed the pace of this story. It was mostly realistic, but It was tough to wrap my head around that a 13-year-old boy would be so intuitive and a friend to his mom.
