Eyes never lie, i knew it and believed it with all my heart but i wanted it to be untrue when i saw the shift in the way your gaze met mine. It was the day after you met her i saw your honey eyes turn into ruby rouge

It was later that i realised you were not looking at me when all i could see was you.

You were right in front of me but you have never been farther.

I could touch you with just a stretch of my arm but i was scared you would dodge it and I'd turn blue

It was as if she put a spell on and you vanished from my arms before i could say "i need you"

My lips were sealed because i had nothing to say to you, i knew she'd win if we were to stand against each other for you

She had been your first and i knew you'd search her in me but god knows how much i prayed for u to only see the love i have to give.

I can still feel your hands around my waist, tell me was i the one u were trying to hold?

Regardless i reach out to touch you and feel the disappearing warmth

I can feel your lips against my neck and i try to hold your face but all i could grasp was cold air and it was getting harder to stand straight

I told you i was scared and you said i got nothing to worry as she was gone and the past was all u wanted to burry

I am sitting under the moonlit sky, the flowers surrounding me, you can see them dying because our laughs were what kept them bright

And i remember all the times my cheeks would hurt from smiling too much,

and i remember your eyes they were honey coloured, because i saw them shining in the sun and thinking, god never made something as close as this beautiful as them.

I remember your smile so genuine when my hands touched your face, the way you used to close your eyes to soak all the love in

And now

I am on my knees begging that you'd come running and pull me in a hug and whisper in my ear "you're the one i choose for now and forever"

I see her making you dance to the beats of my oroken heart

But it has never been easy to undo a love spell, if only true loves kiss could make you forget her I would taste your lips if they were lined with poison as well

Maybe i could whisper magic in your ears and have you all alone? Because she is strongest as long as she has you in her presence
