The Wholeness of All - Garandou
Sometimes a character is a person. Sometimes a character is a talking sword. And in many cases, a character wouldn’t be a character at all if not for the setting in which it resides. In that capacity, to divulge a character is to divulge a slice of a world, so why not start there first and reveal some of the world before the character within it - says the builder of worlds and characters. With that in mind, I have to first discuss Garandou and what it is. In a word, it is the most raw and complete idea of what the word “all” could represent, even if most of it is empty precisely as the name suggests.
In more than a word, however, Garandou is the most literal interpretation of “all-encompassing” you could get - it wouldn’t be far off-base to consider it as a higher form of “omniverse” wherein one could theoretically use some form of exotic vessel or methods, and while probably not pragmatic in practice, travel between entire multiverse neighborhoods and individual universes or realms. Often is the time I’ve had someone try to be witty and say “haha it doesn’t contain this universe I made just now because I just made it”, but that’s precisely it - that universe was already here before any human mind perceived it with their imagination, and trying to design something outside of Garandou is futile by design, that’s how completely and totally “all” this concept is supposed to be. Spiderman is here, Batman is here, Twilight Sprinkle is here, Mario and Luigi are here, your fanfic OCs are here, Optimus Prime is here - et coetera ad infinitum.
Garandou exists as a concept specifically because I needed and wanted a way to encapsulate all of my original material without causing too many changes to the content itself - considering there’s several iterations of earth and even some discreetly orbiting around IP that isn’t precisely mine while skirting the line of what is and isn’t fanfiction, the easiest way was to do an omniverse type of deal which also superceded and encapsulated all possible intellectual content, past, current, and future. It has zero impact on anyone’s IP other than being an imaginary “outside” for all these universes and multiverses to float around in.
The only thing that is both outside and inside of Garandou would be “Infinite Blue” since this serves as a sort of visual representation for the membrane or boundary at the precipice of Garandou’s outermost limits...
...and somewhere adrift upon Infinite Blue is a chunk of condensed sentiments-as-matter known as Izapa Stela 5, a world where a lot happens, including the primary residence of myself as a character and VTuber.
