Chapter 1
One peaceful Friday evening, Dian was sitting in the living room reading a book when she hears a knock on the door she puts her book down andstandsup she walks to the door and opens it expecting her father but sees Macommo, her next doors neighbour. "hi" Dian says onto seeing her neighbour " hi Dian"Macommo says turning to her "i got this letter but its addresed to you" he said then handed her a letter "oh thank you" Dian said as she took the letter from him "bye" she said and closed the door on his fece"you had a chance and you blew it" Macommo said to himself and walked back to his apartment room. "well that was weird" Dian said to herself making her way to the couch, she sat down and opened the letter,it was from her father and it read
Dearest Child,
I am writing to you today because i have someone for you to meet i would've come but i have serious business that i have to attend to. so i am requesting you to meet King Richard IV for me. There is to be a ball this saturday night, held for the celebration of the 25th birthday of Prince Rhine, the oldest son of King Richard IV and queen Daisy. You can go get the invitation yourself or you can wait for it in the mail, but i reccomend you to go yourself you can introduce yourself to the royal family. i hope you will go on my behalf.

Dian took a long breath then she said "well, guess im going to a ball" to herself.she then got up and went to get ready for bed even if it was early she knew she needed the rest.
the next morning, Dian got up quite early and got ready for the day. She wore a knee length dress yellow with flower prints, sneekers that matched the dress and a jacket, she braided her hair and got her hand bag with all her neccesities. then she walked out thinking it would be a great idea to walk all the way to the castle, but after a few minutes her feet told her they couldnt go much further, not anymore. so she hopped on a bus that went straight to the royal castle.
a little while later the bus stopped in front of the royal castle and she gotoff te bus. she took a moment to admire the beauty of her surrounding and started walking to the castle. She went up to a gaurd near the main gate and said “excuse me sir can i get in” “do you have a pass?”the gaurd asked opening his hand as if he was asking for something. “ umm no i dont” “ok then tell me why you are here?” The gaurd asked as he put his hand down “ my father sent me a letter telling me to go to the royal palace” Dian blabbered out not knowing what to do next “ok sowhat is your name” the gaurd said taking a small note book out of his pocket “ D-dian Edevane” she said as she gripped the handle of her hand bag tightly as the gaurd started flipping through the pages of the note book. He stopped on a page and narrowed his eyes looking at it “ ah yes, your father is arnold Edevane, am i right?” The gaurd asked looking at Dian and she replied “ um uh yes, that is true”” you can go, now do as i say ok?” The gaurd said putting the notebook back in his pocket “ ok” Dian said unsure of herself “ now you must go straightin from the main entrance “ he said pointing to the main entrance of the castle “ then you must go straight, there will be a stair case and you must go up a floor and go to the first door and there the queen will be waiting for your arrival” the gaurd said and opened the gate, Dian walked in and the gaurd bowed then closed the gate.
Dian did as the gaurd told her and now she was in front of the first door on the second floor, on the door was the name ‘Daisy Dolivo Mendozawolf’ written in gold paint. She slowly turned the door knob and walked inside, she walked a bit further andlet the dior close by itself "your highness" she said doing a small curtsy then a woman dressed elegently in a beautiful voilet dress engraved with beautiful jewel and a tiara on her head turned to her and said "you must be Dian" "yes, your highness" Dian replied trying to keep her straight face as the queen said "you are so beautiful, just like your mother" "thank you your highness, but if i may ask, did you know my mother" Dian asked out of curiosity snd the queen replied "ofcource i did, i didnt only know her she was also my best friend she was a great woman you know, its just that she died in an early age" the queen said as she sighed deeply and sat down on a chair and offered Dian a seat pointing to a chair opposite her. Dian slowly nodded her head in acceptance and made her way to the chair and sat down as the queen crossed her arms infront of her chest and rested her back.
after a long pause of silence Dian said"your highness you said that you knew about my mother can you tell me more about her, please"" ofcourse, so your mother, Carrina Raven Edevane, i met her at the fair when i was about 18 she was very kind,helpful, beautiful and she always thought of the good......." the queen continued for abot 20 minutes and then repeated again "she was a great woman you know, its just that she died in an early age". Dian was shockd, she heard so many things about her late mother that not even her father had told her. she then said " your highness, can you tell me why i was invited to the royal castle" "ofcource but wait a second ill bring soe one else so i dont have to explain it twice" the queen said as she stood up and walked towards the door as she opened the door she said " ill be right back wait here ok" and she walked out closing the door behind her.
Dian was shocked, first she is called to the royal palace next she comes to know that the queen was her late mothers best friend and just as she puts her hand bag on the carpeted floor looking around the room the door clicks open and clatiana looks at the door, the queen walking infront and a man wlking behind her. " mother what is so important that you had to bring me here" the man said in a rather annoyed tone " youll see" the quen said as she sat down on her chair and the man sat down on the chair next to Dian and looked at her “you?!?” Both of them shouted at each other. “ you know eachother ?” The queen asked them with a shocked look. “Yes” the both said looking away and crossing their arms “ well you have to listen to me and then we’ll see what we have to do, ok?” The queen said and the two replied “ i guess” and sat straight with angry looks on their faces “ ok then” the queen said and started “ so lets start from the first so when you, Dian, was born your parents and we agreed that when you two were old enough you two were to get married” “ what?” The two shouted. “No why what who did……”the both started questioning the queen. The queen stared at them wondering what to do next.
“ letters for you miss Edevane” a man knocked on the front door. “ coming” a woman shouted from the other side and running could be heard, click the door opened and revealed a woman with flowy dark hair and red eyes “oh, its you” she said witha sweet smile “yes, there are two letters one from the royal palace” he said and gave her a letter with a wax stamp on it “ and one from the manager” he said and handed her another letter but this time without the wax stamp. “Thank you Rhine” the woman said and cut the first letter open with her nail and silently read it “ its from the queen inviting me to the ball” the woman said “ exciting, it must be “ the man said not moving an inch from where he stood“ i guess” the woman said and started opening the other letter as she read the letter she lost the smile she had “ Mr Patterson tonight” the woman said not taking her eyes off the letter “and he wants you to come with me”the woman said finally taking her eyes off the letter “yes” the man said the smile on his face widening slowly “ thats why you look so smudge” the woman said turning back and walking into a room in the apartment. The man waited for about 10 minutes and then only the woman returned in a red, strapless, ankle length dress with high heels on her feet. “ you didnt need to dress up you know” the man said looking up to the woman “ well if you dont know this is my uniform” the woman replied already annoyed of the man as she grabbed her long coat from the coat hanger beside the door“ you know it’s going to be ruined anyway right ” the man said and the woman replied as “ ofc i know its bad enough i have to spend time with you for this mission then on top of that the manager says that its mr patterson’s information that we have to dig for, do you knowhow that man hides information ” the woman said in an exhausted voice walking out of the apartment and locking the door behind her “oh c’mon its not that bad because we get t spend some quality time together before getting married” the man said again as he started walking away and the woman followed replying “ ofc i know but patterson out of every one in the whole entire world” the woman complaining picking up speed as they turned a corner “anyway does your mother knows about this spy job” the woman asked, the pair walking swiftly without looking at eachother “ ofcourse she dooesnt” the man said as he laughed slowly.
As the two got far enough from the apartment building the woman leaped forward and became a gigantic wolf “so according to what the manager told me we are not only supposed to track down mr patterson but also take some important papers or something”the man said and looked at the woman now in her wolf form “ i wonder why we are made to go run like this, i thought this job only consisted of working with computers, and putting together puzzle parts” the man said in an anoyed manner as the wolf shook its head with disappointment and said “ can’t you figure it out yourself, you’re the alpha aren’t you?” “ yeah, but i just don’t understand it”.
