Chapter; The Rival
The bookcover is done by @benoh_coverss. Please follow her and give her your support. Thank you. Ana paced around the office restlessly, trying to think of anything. Anything that could help her think of a decent plan. The plan where she could stop this person from invading her people's area. Five years, she has been ruling over the wisdom clan for five years but not once, not even by mistake was anyone able to become a threat to her clan for more than a week. But this person, this particular individual has become a threat to her clan, when a month ago he attacked the borders of her clan with some of his companions;
''think Ana THINK.''
Ana shouted the last word not paying attention to the person who was sitting in front of in front of her empty chair with her desk filled with papers and files. Martha was her name, with red hair and wearing a green long coat. Martha said unbothered by all of this;
''things are not complicated if we had gone to the forest near our borders, we could have easily caught them.''
Martha took off her black gloves and rubbed the hands against each other. Ana fixed her sharp gaze on Martha threateningly and replied;
''you mean to say that we go outside the border and abandon our only source of safety. Martha this is what they want. You know how easy it is to kill us in the forest.''
Martha shrugged at her response while picking up the glass of water from the table and said;
''We are only showing weakness by hiding. All you need to do is send some guards out there if they can find anything.''
Ana let out a groan of irritation. Martha was not only a second in command, she was also her best friend. They met in their teenage year and bonded instantly. Ana took over the role of the leadership after her father, she quickly asked Martha to be the second in command but sometimes Ana could not help thinking if she had made a mistake when Martha came with responses like Send this person or that person, without considering how dangerous or life-threatening could it be. Ana turned her back to her best friend and replied;
''I will go with the guards.''
Martha stood up with disbelief clear on her face saying;
''no you can't go, this is not right. You are the leader of this clan. Why are you getting tangled up in this.''
Ana turned to Martha and got near her slowly with her sharp gaze fixed on her and said;
''the decision is made. I will go with them.''
Martha lowered her gaze and didn't protest because she knew she could not change her mind.

This is great but you gotta fix those capital letters :) Some are smaller case at the start of the sentences. Run it though Quillbot or Grammarly and you should be good to go!
Ana I know how much you want to swear at the male lead in the first part of the story but you have to take this seriously okay!!!.
