Summary

Something has reduced Athanasius, the eldest prince of the sea kingdom of Nendavia, to that which he despises most: weak, lost, and worst of all…human. If only he could remember how—and why. But when he wakes onboard a human ship under the care of the soft-spoken Dr. June Vega, his primary concern becomes escaping the humans imprisoning him—memory loss notwithstanding. A volunteer aboard a military icebreaker, June is intrigued by the edgy, silent giant she helped rescue from certain death in the Arctic Ocean. When her new patient’s amnesia delays establishing his identity or his story, June, struggling with ghosts of her own past, resolves to help Ath recover and return home…wherever that may be. Weakened in his human state yet inexplicably drawn to a woman he isn’t sure he trusts, Ath begins questioning if he belongs in Nendavia. June, captivated by the giant who swears he is neither man nor hero, helps him navigate the modern world of technology, science, and medicine only to find herself falling for him…and into an alien world of gods, monsters, and sorceresses. When the reason behind Athanasius’s predicament surfaces, threatening his home and family, the crux of his relationship with June boils down to two questions: are either of them willing to sacrifice everything for the other…and will they survive the fallout if the answer is no?

Author's Note

Song of the Sorceress is book two in the Songs of Nendavia series, available on Kindle Unlimited. For a limited time, as I finish the book, I'm making what I've written so far available to subscribers A) to keep me motivated to complete it in a timely manner and B) to reward my readers for their patience and support.

Please enjoy what I've put together so far for Ath's story! Please note, this is a draft, so there may be typos or other minor issues. Feel free to point them out! There is also a chance what I post here will differ from what I submit to KU after final edits following completion of the manuscript. Questions? Let me know! I love hearing from you. Thank you for supporting my writing journey, and I hope you enjoy Ath's journey as much as I'm loving writing it! ❤️
