Chapter 1
Morning 6.00 A.M
Hera was jogging in the park near her apartment with her headphones plugged in. She was enjoying the morning breeze and the cool atmosphere when her phone rang disturbing her peace. She slowed down near a bench and sat there while glancing at the caller I.D. which brought a small smile on her face. Sipping water from her bottle, she attended the call.
Caller: “ Are you ready for the day?” Hera glanced at the phone sighing.
Hera: “ Don’t you know to greet people when you call them?”
Caller: “ Oops. Sorry. GM. Where are you? Are you ready for the day?”
Hera: “First of all GM to you too. Next, I’m at the park. And…”But she was cut off.
Caller: “ What are you doing at the park without getting ready for the day?” She shouted making Hera to move the phone away from her ears.
Hera: “ For God sake Athena, look at the time, its 6.20 A.M. It’s my jogging time and if you’ve forgot, I need just 10 minutes to get ready unlike you. And most importantly THE INRTERVIEW IS AT 10.00 A.M” She too shouted at last. She heard some shuffling sound and understood that the phone was being snatched.
Caller:“Its Rowan Heer. GM”
Hera: “ I guessed that already Row. What happened to your wife today? Why is she so hyper that too in the early morning”
Rowan: “ Don’t you know the reason? Its your interview today. That’s the reason, SHE’s ( he stressed) hyper” He said chuckling. Hearing that Hera too laughed.
Hera: “ Calm her down and say that I won’t be late for the interview. Now I need to go. Bye”
Rowan: “ Bye and All the best for today”
Hera: “ Thank you. Ya bye” She cut the call and continued the jogging. She reached her apartment and started preparing breakfast. By 9.00 she started getting ready and was ready within 10 minutes in a perfect professional look apt for an interview. After completing her breakfast, she headed to her destination for her interview, THE ARES INDUSTRIES.
