Chapter 1

It was yet another of me sitting just by myself, alone at my home. The view of the tranquil nature from my window always seems to fascinate me. Besides, honestly speaking my life has given me enough on the platter to wail and mutter about. Just when I was busy in my own musings a low gasp left my mouth when I heard the rustling of the leaves on the tree before my window. For a moment I was surely dazed, because there wasn't a single disturbance, no breeze or wind that would eventually lead to this peculiar movement. Just as this situation had happened another one came, I suddenly heard the sound of some heavy footsteps, I really was taken aback; my resilience left the moment the fear swept over me covering me like a shroud. It was 6 in the evening and mom hadn't still called me since yesterday. In the midst of this I nonchalantly settled down on the mat that I had previously left and covered my self with the thick blanket that I had left before the window, just as if winters were around the corner. These days loneliness was evident, I only could go out when it was time for school or tuitions.

Apparently, life has been pretty melodramatic for me. Just with this sigh I decided to turn on the television and watch something only when I felt thirsty and required water to quench my thirst so I headed towards the kitchen to grab myself a glass of water. I had just gulped down some of it and holding the glass tightly in my hand suddenly something came from the window that was left open and struck my glass and broke it down to pieces. A scream left my mouth when i saw the broken pieces and a stone wrapped around with some paper.

At first, I was hesitant to even step forth and clean the mess before me but then my vision fell upon the stone and I descended down to check if something was written off the piece of paper. I was right something in very bold curves was scribbled on it.

For real, such a thing has never ever happened in my entire life that's why my heart was beating so fast as if I had caught tachycardia. I wanted to call someone in my vicinity for help but I knew I couldn't. I succumbed down to this situation that this is the destiny and there is no way out of it. Nonetheless, I know I'm very courageous. Henceforth,I decided to head back to my room and rest for a while. I knew that it was just a way of caressing away my fear otherwise my musings did give me anxiety.

I mean there can't be a reason for anyone to sneak in my house without even knowing that there is nothing but boredom they can find in this big, empty house. The high adrenaline rush did give me the impression of anguish. I hadn't even had my food as yet but still my void gut felt full for some weird reasons. For sometime I decided to take a nap as I felt drowsy therefore, flung open my room door, laid down on my back and slept.

I'm telling you this because I'm the only person who can say this to you, even though I'd rather not but the truth is that I really couldn't stop fluttering my eyes open again and again as I felt terrible. My body felt knackered, my mind was flooded with the creepy thoughts, I felt the lonesome emotions erupting into my heart shaking with erratic beats.

Just as I was in the midst of my thoughts my phone beeped repeatedly meaning of an upcoming call. A sigh of relief left my mouth when I heard it ring without a second thought of checking the identity I picked up the call as I already knew who it would be from...

My mom.

But, to my misfortune that wasn't the thing it was someone else who had deceived the inner demons in me. Because when I heard a manly chuckle, my body shook violently.

I know it is a very queer chapter to understand, because there is literally nothing relevant regarding the main character. But I assure you, in the next chapter that bubble will also burst.

Till then keep up with this.
