Adley knew she had to hide, there would be far too many soldiers for her to engage alone. As she stepped away from the radio, her foot slipped on a loose metal plate, the resounding clang echoing throughout the corridor. Instantly, the encampment was awash with blaring alarms, and the once-immobile robots sprang to life, their red eyes illuminating the darkness. Adley's heart raced as she was enveloped in a maelstrom of chaos and danger.
Nazi soldiers sprang into action, rushing into her area with highly advanced versions of their typical weapons. MP40's that had Tesla coils attached to the tops and steam powered rifles that looked like Lee Enfields.
Bullets whizzed past her, and explosions rocked the chamber as the giant robots unleashed hellish fury. Adley fought with unyielding determination, her every move a testament to her unwavering courage. Several Nazi soldiers were killed with wildly accurate headshots. Adley had always been an expert marksman.
Keeping as covered as she could, Adley knew that failure would mean the death of countless innocents, and that thought propelled her forward even as fatigue threatened to consume her.
